I have seen several posts about nic strength affecting flavor, but nothing that mentions how exactly flavor is affected. I have only been vaping about a month and so far the juices I have used are in the 12-18mg range. Is flavor and nic strenght a direct correlation ie more nic more flavor or opposite more nic less flavor, so if I got some of the same juice in say 24mg instead of my usual 18mg or the 16mg how would the flavor be affected... would it be more or less flavor?

I think it definitely effects the flavor of juice, just my personal opinion but I know I have purchased many of juice the same flavor in different strengths and it taste different and when I do my own DIY I have to adjust the flavoring level depending on my MG to get my mixes where I want them. and of course what the others say the higher the Nic MG the more TH

I started at 18mg and its been about 2 months and I just cut down to 11/ 12 depending on the source. I've noticed a change in flavor that I can not put my finger on. I'm hoping that I'll just get used to it not tasting as delicious as it used to, still good, but not as good for some reason. I don't miss the higher nic lvl at least. I'm not feeling angry or antsy I'm just used to the 18mg TW tobacco and PEC Maple Rum flavor

I'm pretty sure someone makes a sort of peppery add-in stuff that you can use to mimic the flavor you get from higher nic juices. Maybe it's qhit?

ooh that worth checking out. The mixture I was using I was in love with for a couple weeks but its not too good in 12mg. I'll look into it if I don't find something better anytime in the near future.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you trying to cut down on nic?

I hope to eventually cut down myself, but at this point I find I vape much more with lower nic levels, and it doesn't taste as good. I guess I'm just happy at this point with 24, for I'll stick with it for the time being.

My mom on the otherhand has gone from 36 mg to 8-12mg. For her the longer she vapes the less she likes the stronger nic. flavors.

Just curious. :)
