OK, so I have had my KR808 for a week and my Joye 510 since last Friday...
I did exhaustive research and invested a few bucks in getting extra batteries, PPCs, Cartos/Attys/Carts and juice...

Now I can't vape...

Why do you ask?

Well, I was almost a 2 pack a day smoker of Camel Filters...but the way I smoked, I really inhaled the smoke...I used to get comments all the time about the way I smoked.

Now, based on how I smoked, I ordered a TON of different HIGH Nic juice...while it tasted great (multiple flavors and mostly VG), on both the 510 and 808, the TH was insane for me.

I immediately started coughing and my lungs felt like deflated football. I poured through these forums and tried different things in order to vape as close to the way I was smoking...And a higher Nic content increases TH, or at least it did for me.

I was extremely unsatisfied. Not with my e-cigs, both models are great! Not with the taste, I really liked it. But my brain wanted to 'smoke' without smoking.

So now I have several more orders coming in of 0mg VG, dropper bottles and some flavoring. I am going to have to dilute my current juice to a level my throat and lungs can handle.

While overall, I am ecstatic I found e-cigs, (I can honestly say that through these I will finally be able to conquer my 20yr smoking habit) I will say that for new members, be cautious on your Nic levels that you order.

Your first order should be a combination of low, medium and high to see where you are and then go from there. There are always 0mg liquids to dilute or high Nic liquids to add, don't make the mistake I did and order a bunch of stuff in excitement of this great thing and then have bottles of juice that is unbearable to vape...LOL! Now THAT is frustrating...:p

Just a few things I have learned in my very limited time vaping...YMMV
:D

You're on the right track there with the dilution and you might want to vary your inhalation by taking into the mouth and then opening the mouth on an inhale to dilute some with the air. I do it and still get plenty of vapor.

I had just the opposite problem. I was smoking Marlboro Mediums and ordered 18mg. juice. Problem was that I was sucking on my PV constantly, (hmmm, that sounds vaguely dirty, lol). Anyway, I just got 24mg and that seems to be doing the trick. You're right, best thing is to get a variety of strengths. It also seems like a lot of people on here like to have some 0 mg. so they can vape for relaxation without worrying about nicotine OD.

As a test, I bought some USP VG and tried direct dripping on my 501.
Was able to inhale like I do with analogs with no irritation or complete lung failure...LOL

What I was able to do is do a 'cigar pull' off my ecig that was loaded with some of my high Nic VG, and then 'french inhale' through my nose...and even that after a little while caused me to cough...although it has cut my need for an analog down, I still don't get that 'satisfaction' doing it this way.

It is either my lungs are toast, or not as bad as I thought!...LOL!
Either way, I am happy I have some of the good stuff coming.
Can't wait to do some DIY on these cool flavors I have since it is nearly unbearable to vape them...lol

I smoked lights and I tried 24 mg/ml juice and it caused me to cough. Did some mixes and found 20-22 to be good for throat hit to start without the cough. Not sure what I am vaping now as it started at 24 before I got crazy with VG and flavorings. Throat hit disappeared in all that tinkering with flavor for a few days until I added some 30 mg stuff till throat hit reappeared.

When this stuff is used up in a month who knows maybe I have been on 16-18 all this time and that will be ok from now on. I DIY mix so small test batches of various strengths is easy with that spreadsheet calculator.

I started with 18-24 and still use it.

You CANNOT vape like you smoked. Deep inhales will kill you when starting out. Vape for 3-4 seconds, hold the vape in your mouth a spell, then slowly inhale.

It's like being a first time smoker again...remember the first few puffs you took you choked?

Update...

So I got my TastyFinger from TastyVapor today! Along with some bottles and some VG.
I was so excited, I mixed some right here at work...
I must say, the cut down Tastyfinger is awesome. I can only imagine what the taste is like uncut, but I am now enjoying my 510 here at my desk!

So, now that I have some mixing accessories, I will be happily vaping from this point forward!
