Love guinea pigs too. Had one several years ago we called Guinea Guy. A couple months later we got Guinea Girl to keep him company. They had a nice big cage with a divider in it for when I wasn't home to {ahem} supervise their activities. I got home from work one morning a few weeks later, walked by the cage and noticed something didn't look right. Instead of two, there were four. Ms. GG must have been pregnant when we got her. I had no idea guinea pig babies were born with all their hair and with their eyes open.

cute story!!!

There's certain non-allergic dogs, but I forget which breeds... poodles are one of them, but one of my friends back east whose son has asthma, they actually have a dog with long hair, but it's fur instead of hair and thus non-allergic. So yeah it's just the dog hair on most dogs... and cats too! Not bunnehs though! :D

It's not terrible by any means, but enough that I can't really deal with it in my own house without adding to my stuffy head and migraines

That is soooo cute that your bunnehs would sit still on a chair for play time! I know my Sasia might but Bunji, no way, he's still a young'un and got ants in his pants, always running to and fro. He does sit and relax and sleep a bit during the day as bunnies do, because that's when they sleep. But I don't think I could ever get him to sit still for play time. He'd have to jump onto the table and check everything out and throw it around.

I haven't washed my makeup off yet... big production with this much stuff on my face, harquus marks* and all, so I been putting it off... but after my 2nd glass of champagne, I'm starting to yawn so I guess I better get this war paint off now! Back in a few...

*harquus are the tribal dots and markings that tribal belly dancers wear on their face, for me, my forehead, nose, and chin.

Hi Cherie,

I so admire your talent for dancing. I have zero ability in that area. Soooo awkward. I've got Zumba DVDs here for exercise and I only do them when I'm alone because I look like I'm having a seizure. Really.

Bichon Frise is another breed that is "hypoallergenic". My son (22 now) has had terrible allergies since he was a baby and although I wanted a furbaby after my divorce, I had to consider what breed would be a good fit for both of us. Pierre came to live with us about 12 years ago and he is amazing. Always happy and so beautiful.

Bichon Frise are gorgeous dogs. Did not know they are hypoallergic. I heard that labradoodles are but idk for sure. I'd be so miserable if I were allergic to dogs! I can't live without them. They give me more love and attention than the husband  After being married for nearly 17 yrs, we pretty much over the honeymoon stage. Now its kinda boring. I know...not all marriages are a bowl of cherries. Sorry Cherie  no pun intended

I'm a dog person too Nila. Love puppy breath and there's nothing like doggie snuggles to make life good after a bad day - or to make a good day better! Husbands are nice, but they aren't as consistently loving as our furbabies.

I just tried Gravity and Or3o earlier today, (technically yesterday). Both are excellent.

Between Betelgeuse and Gravity, I can't say which I like more.. but I'm leaning toward the latter. Vaped it for hours and haven't gotten remotely tired of it.

The Or3o is a good approximation of the cookie. One thinks of Oreos as simple and common, but there's some complexity there, and they have a fairly unique flavor when ya think about it.

Great job as always, Clark!

Back! Yes it took a 1/2 hour to get all my warpaint off... plus all the flowers in my hair, 8 of em up there, the 2 biggest being 7" in diameter and 3.5" high at the center. I had a head full of flowers and feathers today! heh

Let me see if this pic will come thru. What kind of dog is this? I'll know if you say the breed name cuz Tina has told me countless times before but I have such trouble remembering names of all kinds:

Nila, yes it's pronounced haar-ku (the s is silent).

Bichon Frise... aww they're so cute Lady, kinda like a poodle on a good hair day I think. :p

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a schnauzer or mini schnauzer as that name didn't click when you said it. I think they have a bit more of a beard thing going on than Rocky has if I recall correctly anyway. There were a few other pics too but her son was in them and I didn't feel comfortable posting someone else's kid in a public forum. Here's another I found in her photo album.

I dunno, for some reason schnauzer doesn't click but maybe I'm just forgetting... I thought for sure as soon as you said the name, I'd be like oh yeah, that's it! But you gals are obviously more dog people than I.

the point of me posting is that he's a non-allergic dog, even though you wouldn't think so because of all that fur.

yeah, pups are there whenever you need them most unlike husbands and pups don't expect much except love, treats, pets and cuddles and more love

Maybe it is a schnauzer and most of the ones I've seen have been shaved except for around the mouth, making them look like they have a beard... so maybe that's why, if this is indeed a schnauzer or mini schnauzer, the name wouldn't stick and I wouldn't remember because he doesn't look like other schnauzers in my mind. *shrug*

Not to say I don't like men. I do. Muchly. They're a constant source of amusement. ;)

yes, some men are tolerable while others are not and still others are just great...idk  I get very frustrated with mine but I try to make the best of it...don't see him much anyhow bc he works all the time so that helps I guess...we'd probably both go crazy if we had to be together all the time and I dred his retirement :p

Hmmm. Dunno, but please let us know when you can. I'll be looking at doggie pics in the meantime. Lol I have to make myself stay awake until 8:00 this morning so I can get some sleep before work today. Scouring doggie pics will be a switch from watching Bob Ross painting videos on YouTube earlier this morning. Remember the PBS "happy little trees" guy? He was awesome!

Monday is usually my longest day of the week. I'll go in at 6:30 this evening and work ~12 hours. We're doing "driver appreciation" this week so there will be tons of prep and maintenance for the goodies we feed them. It's worth it though. They are a great bunch of guys. I've been working with many of them for 10 years and I know their families and have practically watched their kids grow up.
