Wow and Pfft..............

Came here trying to get some insight. Seems like to much - mine is better - (X) sux

Would be nice if someone actually did a subjective comparison of several available brands and listed the Variences.
Not opinions, variances.

I have read WL is much better than MFS and Vise Verse
Some prefer total transparency but other feel it is FLAT
Some say a Nic is peppery and others say it has a nice hit.

I am not interested in paying 3x price for a Nic that may be preferences 1 step higher by a limited number of elite Mixologist or Flavorles Vapors, but I would like to know if a specific Brand/supply is going to heavily influence my mixes when used in LOW %

Anyone got a Chart? :(
Want no influence on your flavors?

Follow jimi-d to the promised land.

Want pepper, th, authentic nic burn, etc. In your tobacco mixes? Look for nic with those nuances. I'd suggest WL should likely fit the bill right nice.

Actually that is why I was questioning.
Other than the Packaged Brands of e-liquids - US and Foreign - I have only used WL to this point. It never seemed any more/less harsh than any given pre-mix of an equal mg level.
Now that I am down to 3mg in tanks and 1mg in RDA's, I don't notice much TH or any Nic to Flavoring interference.

After seeing several posters comparing WL and MFS as similar in taste/color, I went ahead and purchased a 1 liter to try out.
Hey, $45 beats $100+ any day IF it compares.

Maybe I'll pick up a small bottle of a few others later to do some comparisons.

Edit: I do not do Tobacco Flavors......... Unless you want to count RY4D with lots of Caramel and Bavarian cream :D

Doesn't count IMO. If anything it would.be an exception if you could call it that?

Yeah, I have no problems with WL. It's what I've been mixing for family and friends since I started. It's just got a ton of bite @ 50mg. A bit much, really.

A liter at the nic levels you're vaping sounds more like a commitment than trying it. Went rather gung Ho on that one, did ya? Lol

Hope it works out for ya.

You could be a good nic reviewer here. If there's anything in the nic, it's going to show well at your levels.

How many MLs do you take in per day, if I may?

my freedom smokes has nic on sale. I vape unflavored at 6mg. I do not like a pepper taste. any opinions on the mfs nic? will diluting it to 6 nic possibily eliminate the pepper taste if there is any?
    thanks!

If you don't like a peppery taste, I wouldn't choose MFS nic. If you vaped, say, 24mg nic regularly and used MFS at 6mg, you might not taste the pepperiness. Since you vape unflavored at 6mg normally, however, I can't imagine that you wouldn't taste it. But I could be wrong.

I won't even try MFS or WL lol too scared:glug:

MFS is one of my ADVs and at 24mg it just has a nice TH as well as a slight earthy undertone in flavor, which distinguishes it from the vapor under the shower, but nothing that reminds me of 'pepper' nor do I taste anything chemical.

Imo there is nothing to be scared of..

I feel that this thread is pursued by two distinct groups of people, both looking for something else..

One group is looking for nic base with as less flavor and bite as possible, in order to prevent interference with the flavors that are mixed into it, or just because they like to vape unflavored base (where unflavored means unflavored).

The other group is looking for nic base that has a pleasant flavor that comes from the tobacco it was extracted from, in order to support the tobacco flavors in their mixes, or just because they like to vape unflavored base (where unflavored means without additional flavorings).

This means that it makes no sense to talk about nic base in terms of good or bad, without telling what you mean by that.

I am in the second group. I look for nic base that has a pleasant flavor. This means that I am not very interested in trying NN or VT (apart from the fact that they do not ship to Europe). From the ones that were discussed in this thread I tried MFS and RTS, and from these to I prefer the flavor of MFS (I have a liter in my freezer). From the European suppliers I used to love EcoPure Regular and AtmosLab Mist, but I slowly started to dislike taste of the former, and dropped the latter because of inconsistent batches. Tried a few others which I didn't like much, but didn't try Inawera (allegedly too pure for my taste).

Several of the bases I've tried have an nasty taste of what I consider (not sure) to be traces of some kind of chemical solvent that is used in the extraction process. Whatever it is, it tastes bad.

RTS and MFS don't have that and therefore I consider them to be free of undesired substances that were not part of the tobacco it was made from.

(btw in my case it's all 100% VG)

    Hehe he

    Sorry

But keep in mind that was in reference to vaping unflavored and it was my opinion.

Certainly not a subjective, all encompassing review that takes into consideration different folks tastes, preferences and/or how they're going to mix and use it.

I think of the description of a nic base more along the lines of a sommelier describing a fine wine. Just because it's described to have an aroma of grandmother's dirty, old work socks and the taste of earth extracted from Californias northern wine region doesn't mean the person receiving (or giving) the description isn't going to love it.

ahaha, I take no offense, sir. Everything in our ecig world surely comes down to personal preference it seems. And it sure seems like batch consistency also.

In my case, I shuddered when Csmoke mentioned RTS and MFS because my batches were Very chemically smelling. But surely it all isn't that way if their customers' are all happy.

I do always vape only unflavored myself and hope I can respect yours and everyone's opinion.

Either I've been lucky with MFS (three orders 100% VG @ 100mg and 200mg in September and November 2014 and January 2015) or I call 'earthy' what you refer to as 'chemical' [emoji41]

Didn't mean to badmouth your choices. I'm sure they're fine nics. I had tried them back in '11 when their was more inconsistency around and got some bad stuff- that's all.
