From what I understand, VT TH is not going to be offered any longer however, they will special order it if requested for double the previous price ... still not a bad deal at all, just not as good as it once was. I don't know how much extra time the special order might entail but obviously there will be some.

Just fyi for those who might be interested. :)
Yeah, she told me $50. It shouldn't take any extra time.
I got an e-mail from them when I asked if they'll be selling it again.
She said they have it if requested but just aren't advertising it on their website.

I've been vaping the NicSelect unflavored this morning. I went 50/50 @ 8mg (stronger than my normal 5-6mg) in a freshly cleaned/wicked kayfun. The short story is it's totally acceptable.

More detailed review:

No off notes or weird flavors. The taste of the nic is there but subtle and pleasant. Throat hit is standard. Not harsh or smooth. I get more of the sweetness of the VG than I do with the taste of the nic. I would say that any flavoring added would easily mask the nic flavor.

My coil is a 2.5mm contact @ 1.2ohms with cotton wick. I've incrementally gone up from 9 to 15 watts with little change in flavor.

I don't think anyone who prefers very smooth nic with no detectable flavor would approve of it. For me, it's a winner @ $50/liter.

I picked up a sample of NicSelect from Nicotine River - it was extremely clean, much like the VT that I love. I made up a sample at double my usual nic strength, unflavored (I made a 6% sample) and couldn't taste any nic at all. I'll go up and pick up a liter, but based on my experience with ChemNic, I'll be sure to open it before I leave their facility to check it's as good as the sample!

Btw, about nicselect, then I just made a test with 4 unflavored mixes; 2 mixes at 3mg with nicselect and chemnovatic, and 2 mixes at 10mg with nicselect and chemnovatic, and honestly I cannot even taste a difference between either mix when knowing which bottle used, let alone in a blind taste ;)

They all have a slight pleasant tobacco taste in the 3 mg mixes and more pronounced obviously in the 10mg...

Pheew... It's way to much for me testing 10mg mixes on my high-powered standard setup(cherry-bomber and twisted-messes v1 RDA at 0.1ohm, dual 20g KA1, 2.5mm ID, 5/4 wraps contact-coils).

I just received a sample of the Chemnic offering. Going to mix up a 10mg sample to test. Will edit with my internet opinion.

Just gave it the smell test. Very strong scent with a sort of astringent sting to it.

Will report back in a few

Edit - has an off taste sort of a cross between tobacco\ashy and ??? Almost mildew. Sounds worse than the nic actually is lol. Throat hit is mild at 10mg in a dripper. Personally I think nicotine river has a better offering at a similar price point. Heartland is very similar without the mildew after taste. That being said, I think flavoring could easily cover the taste at 6mg. I would be concerned how it holds up over time. I wish I had a nicotine test kit. Just to check.

So my opinion is there are better offerings at the same price point.

Whenever I test unfavored new nic I go stronger to bring out the taste and throat hit to a higher level than would be in my recipes. If I like it then I know it's good for all my blends.

I vaped the 10ml bottle already. It was pretty good. I already used the 60ml sample mixing a batch for my group. Nobody has tried the blends yet. I just mixed on thurs so they are steeping. If anyone complains I'll report back. I doubt anyone will though. Nic river seems to be acceptable budget nic.

Placed my first order for nic from Nude Nicotine. Since I don't know which I'd prefer I got one PG and one VG base of the V2. Figure I can freeze it while I dive into all the DIY stuff...

I just did the same thing today, and I ordered 2 x 500ml V2 in the freezer ready glass bottles. It's more expensive than the other options, but I like the idea of going from the manufacturer directly to the freezer without breaking the seal. I figure I can break it down into smaller bottles as I use it, which will start about the time my favorite pre-mixed liquids get taxed or forced off of the market.

Another 3 orders like the one today over the coming months, and I should have my insurance policy in place with enough nic to last me 20 to 25 years. Since I'm 50 now, it should outlast me! :D

I'm 62 and I feel like I should mention my nic stash in my will so someone doesn't just pour it down the sink when I die.

My wife has very specific instructions in the event of my demise, mods and nic. I probably should add it to my will just in case.

Well, the first liter of NN v2 has arrived and is safely stowed in the freezer. Thus begins my insurance policy, with 3 more liters being ordered (one each month) for the next 3 months.

Uh.. Geez... Got a liter of ECX's Nic select in 100vg... This is the lightest vg I've ever seen I believe.. This seems to have a lot more water than I expected. Didn't notice this before, maybe over the winter because I was thinning anyway.

This looks like it has 15% water.. I'm gonna have to inquire about this... No wonder it wicks so easily but then the vape is off due to the water.

This has to have 15-20% water.. I'm gonna have to inquire about this... No wonder it wicks so easily but then the vape is off due to the water.

In what sense is 'the vape off?'

Spoke with ECX, they said they add no water to it at all..

I poured it side by side with vg and it's quite a bit thinner. I don't know maybe it's normal and I'm just hyper aware today... Lol. Would the 10% nicotine be what's thinning the vg, didn't think of that...

My juices just seem thinner as of late.. Maybe its just me.. I only added 1% pg to my 100vg juice and 4% flavor. Didn't think the 1% was responsible for the viscosity I'm seeing.

Well I do have a lackluster coil in here right now, not enough wraps so it's different than I used to I guess. That can explain the off vape as well... just when I noticed how thin the Nic looked - I probably jumped to conclusions.

The sense thats off is like having water in the juice.. Weaker not as flavorful. To me water is hot steam with no flavor, it vaporizes before vg, the coil doesn't produce Vapor as well with water added, flavors taste watered down to me, causes more popping from the water flashing before the vg, etc. - I just don't like it. :)

Man that sux , was a huge seller why would they do this?

My only guess is that they decided they didn't need to offer a lower cost option any longer especially with the recent FDA stuff. I agree that it sux, especially since they pulled the offering while they had a sale in progress ... I was on the verge of purchasing a couple of extra liters as backups for my backups but couldn't re-enter them into my cart. :(

I ended up buying elsewhere.

I think it was you Jeremy, over a year ago, getting VG nic from ECX thinner than usual and contacted them and they stated no water added, and you where pretty ...... about it(understandably!) ;)

Sorry if remembering wrong, mate!

Besides summer or hotter weather, then there are differences in the VGs viscosities... I always add 5% water and no PG to final mixes, and depending on VG used, some mixes are definitely thicker or thinner, and needs more or less force to drip from my used plastic drip-bottle... Also, nic has close to same specific gravity as water(1.01 vs 1.0), so 100mg is almost like adding 10% water. Still, as my previous point about VG viscosity differences, then one of my 100mg VG nics have actually thicker viscosity than one of my VGs without nic, so it could be true that they don't add water, but of course can't be sure! If they do, then it's definitely ....ed-up to not disclose it when asked!

With 100mg nic though, then unless you use pretty high nic, then you shouldn't really have that much water in your mix... I used to vape a nicbase with 20% water untill recently, and at 3mg it added 0.6% water or something and it was only 72mg nic...

About VT-TH, then Kevin stated on the other forum once, that he would stop selling it(or atleast so cheap), because it was happening at a loss for him when ordering liter bottles and not 120mls... He just underbid the market for gaining market-share and introducing his nic to the world so to speak, I would believe...

Edit: Jeremy, i'm sorry mate, it was cjb313 slightly over a year ago in this thread and you afterwards talked to him about it, so in my head I remembered it as you where the one having the issue, sorry. Of course if it was you, then you wouldn't write such a post as you did now, so I feel so stupid for even thinking that, let alone writing it... :)
