I could be wrong, but I don't think harsh is throat hit. The VT Nic isn't harsh!

First, I apologize for my question because I know it has to have been answered somewhere. There is just so much info here that I get brain freeze trying to wade through it all and when I do searches it does not reduce the amount of posts I have to wade through very much.

I want to start making my own e-juice. I purchased the DIY kit that Scubabatdan recommended from diyflavorshack and I purchased a nicotine testing kit that someone one here on the forum offers for sale. My question is where do I get the the proper VG nic base and the proper PG. I plan on trying VG first. I see the terms USP and Pharmaceutical Grade and I think they mean the same thing but I'm not 100% sure.

I did go to myfreedomsmokes and looked at their nic base. I also found Wizard Labs and see they have 12mg base which is what I get when buying pre-mixed e-juice. The DIY kit comes with some nic base also. Is Wizard Labs the best place to buy from? If not, who sells the safest nic base.

Any help form those more experienced than I is truly appreciated.

I've been making juice for about 6 months, don't know that I ever made a sample without nic. Until lately I've made all my juice at 18mg...for whatever reason, lately I've made several batches using 12mg and the last few at 6mg. What I've noticed is with each batch using the lower nic percentages, the flavors are more pronounced/flavorful...which is leading me to think my so-called unflavored nic is actually acting as a flavor killer.

I've been ordering all my nic from MFS 100%pg. Thought I'd give WL a try and ordered nic @ 100vg. I've made probably 10-12 different mixes using the WL nic...hmm, I dunno but I'm tasting something there that isn't good, much different than the MFS nic...I don't know if it's the nic or the vg...one or the other or both...got to do some more thunking on this..me thunks!

Wizard labs is a good source. Mfs is myfreedomsmoke which some of us have had problems with.. Vapers tek is supposed to have the latest greatest nic currently. There are other reputable vendors as well.

Same here. That's why I switched to WL from Extremevaping. Peppery, or something else in WL, makes for a Fulfilling unflavored vape. A few earlier suppliers I've had like Extreme were almost too clean to vape unflavored.

I thought I was going to use my WL for tobaccos until I mixed a tobacco flavor with Vapers Tek. Ha ! I get more tobacco taste with Vapers Tek. I'm not getting that Nicorette taste in my tobaccos anymore. Just tobacco leaf

I use side airflow on most of my devices. Much smoother this way for me. Now today I used a Kayfun clone 16 mg at work. I was getting more TH. But it could be from the apple flavoring. Right now I'm lung hitting 8 mg with lots of VG at sub ohm .37. I'm getting tons of TH after like a 5 second draw due to the high heat. It depends on the setup we use. This nic by no means is harsh. I did lung hit 16 mg unflavored last week and it was very smooth. So I am asking myself now. Are these flavorings giving me more TH ? I am satisfied with the TH. It's no way in any shape or form that its like inhaling air. I definitely feel it, but it's not uncomfortable.

Hi Jimi, If you still have any of the batch left from the tobacco you made, I am curious to see how it develops in a week or so - better or the same. But judging from the huge clouds you make, you probably have hogged the whole batch by now

Will do. I'll be posting along on any changes. I've made up a couple more tobacco batches today. Also whipped up 100 ml of 16 mg Dirty Neutral Base for more tobaccos. I still have lots more to test on this sweet nic

I went to HeartlandVapes today. Nice folks there. Not much of a show room, just a front office with a desk and shelves of boxes to be shipped or picked up. $15.99 for 120ml @ 100mg. Good glass dropper bottle prices (1oz .88 each).
Vaping 10mg 50/50 flavorless now. Steeped for all of 15 minutes. Maybe a hint of pepper but I only rewicked from the cinnamon redhot I had been vaping so there could be some left over.

I just checked my tracking number, for the umpteenth time since I placed my Vapers Tek order, and it left Memphis this afternoon, which means it will arrive at my door tomorrow around noon!!!!
