Still running Tek nic exclusively since I posted. I've been using my patriot on a mech with .5 duals and unflavored 6 mg, and my ERA with a 2.0 single on my VV grand (4.2 to 5.5 volts). I maintain my earlier description :)

I've left the cap off the 18 mg to see how it reacts to air and time, I'm not sure its actually done anything lol. Sometimes I can get the slightest inkling of a nicotine odor when I jam my nose in there, sometimes not. Either way the vape remains incredibly clean. I've also left the 100 mg bottle sitting on my desk at room temperature, and haven't noticed a 'turn' yet (just nosing).

I mixed up 30 mls of unflavored 6mg with a single drop of TFA menthol, and man the menthol shines through I'm even more impressed.

I've posted a review in Kevin's thread but I have to jump in here to let everyone know that Vapers Tek nic is the bomb! I received my package today and immediately mixed one of my ADV's, which consists of nothing but VG, EM and 18mg nic. This is the best mix using this recipe that I have made thus far and believe me, I have mixed it with several brands of nic. This one outshines them all! I was hoping to do more mixing tonight with other flavors (especially since I dumped everything to start over), but my father in law returned home from open heart surgery and it took longer to get him settled in than I anticipated. I can hardly wait to mix some Inawera fruits with this stuff, oh and VT had another pleasant surprise.....he carries pure tobacco absolute and stuck a bottle in my package! Thanks Kevin! So looking forward to mixing my beloved Virginia with the new TA and the smoothest nicotine around. I have a feeling I won't be using as much flavoring with Tek nic because there is nothing to mask. And that's a fact Jack! I'm in love with this nic!!! :)

With all the raving about VT nic I had to at least give it a try. Mixed 15 flavors yesterday that I'll let steep a few days and an unflavored at 10mg in a VG base which I've been vaping all day. The absolute only flavor I'm getting from it is the slight sweet of the VG and small bite of the nic. I've never had the VG taste come through before. This stuff is squeaky clean! So worth the extra $ IMO and I can't wait to see how the flavor comes through on my mixes. My single complaint (if you can call it that) is that while it is so worth paying the premium price for it should come in a glass bottle. Even my nic from MFS which was a fraction of the price was packed in glass. A minor complaint tho as this stuff is really good. Can't wait to see what downInTn has to say about his side by side comparison with NN.

So this guy I've helped with mixing before calls me up and says he has some nicotine he wants me to try. I tell him I've got a batch coming from VT. Turns out VT and the guy I was talking to are the same person, go figure?

I just got done mixing up 250ml of juice with this nicotine. I'll compare it with my favorite nicotine, XV's.
Same color. Same smell. So in the original bottle, it's darn close.

Mixed I get the same flavor throughput as XV's. That's amazing at the price point.

Two differences. Less TH, which isn't necessarily a good point with me as I like my TH. There is more "mouth body", or more of a feeling of vapor density before inhaling to put it in other terms. Not sure if that's a good thing or not, but I'm leaning toward the good side.

I'll buy it again. Which is probably the strongest positive statement that I could utter about nicotine base.

And that folks, is as close to a review as I have ever done and probably ever will do.

I did do a side by side comparison. First I have to say my experience is very limited, I've only ever used NudeNicotine nic until now, and I know my ability to taste and discern things is not the best.

I mixed ~14ml of my base 80%vg/15%dw/3%saline/2%pga then added .3ml FA Strawberry. I chose FA Strawberry because it's light but somewhat complex, IMO. I then gave the mix a good shake, a hot bath, a good shake and then measured two 5ml samples leaving the remainder as a 'control'. 12mg/ml is my upper limit these days so .6ml VT nic to one and NN nic to the other then shake, a hot bath, shake again.

My conclusion, I couldn't discern any meaningful difference between the three. There was a very subtle difference between the 0 nic control and the others but to me it was negligible. My results where the same three days later.

I'm very happy with the VT nic, I got VG base and it's crystal clear and orderless. Order processing was super fast, I ordered on a Monday and received it on Wednesday. IIRC, shipping was cheaper than NN making the price difference almost a wash.

Hi everyone, I am at a loss to explain why the color of my pre-mixed liquid is changing from clear to yellow in only 5 days AFTER I add nicotine. During these five days, neither the nic, nor the pre-mixed has changed in their original bottles. Both are still clear. It indicates the color change is NOT the result of Nic oxidation. Is it possible there is a chemical reaction between the Nic and the flavorings in my pre-mixed liquid? It contains 4% flavorings - some tobacco plus a couple of fruits.

Yes, chemical reaction would be my first guess...

Intrigued by everyones raving of vapors tec, I broke down and ordered on May 12th.

Think the price online was wrong as on the VT ECF page he said he was pricing the 450ml at $55, but the site showed $50 so I ordered it. Haven't tried it yet as I'll be a bit busy for a few weeks with other things, but can't wait to try it :)

Glad I ordered when I did as the site now shows $65 for the same thing ;).

Got myself some new vinyl protective lab coats from ebay (WI is always OOS). Got a really good deal on them! Lot of 12 Coat Aprons 3XL Ansell Blue Vinyl 56-901 for $19.99 with free ship. They're so well made that the 12 could very likely be a lifetime supply for me LOL! But working w/100ml nic I wanted a bit more protection than what I had...though these may be a bit overkill

Not sure how they can afford to sell them so low priced...the shipping cost that showed on my tracking info from UPS was almost that much. Anyway, they have some left (3 lots of 12) if anyone is looking.

They're large, long and have full sleeves, open in back with string closures.

Anyone know where to get some dust/particle masks for a good price?

Here & There
Even though I won't need nicotine for quite some time I still enjoy reading this thread. I will fully admit to being an Ice hoarder and am quite happy with it but glad to see there are more and more options popping up. I also like hearing what is Ice-like from those trying all these newer companies products. I have to ask even though it is off topic am I the only nicotine hoarder on this thread? Are those of you who frequent this thread stocking up or do you buy as needed? I just feel better having enough on hand that I don't need to worry about finding a replacement for my precious no longer available Ice. There are the looming possibilities of FDA regulation/taxation in this area too which concerns me as to what the eventual price would be.

I must admit that my testing was full of FAIL. I should have been more thorough, given it more time, and used different equipment/flavors. After mixing with VT nic for a while now and comparing new mixes to old I really started picking up on the dirty taste to my old nic. The other day I dumped everything I had that wasn't mixed with VT nic.
