I thought I would try RTS for nic as well. Bought a 250 ml bottle of 100 mg/ml. Got it and made a 10 ml sample of just pg/vg/ at 6% nic. I had the harshest hit from that I have ever had. Tried again with another batch as before with same results. Call RTS and told them about issue. They said that the lot number on the bottle was a good batch but is sending me another bottle anyway. Good Customer Service if you ask me.
(Side note: When I received my 1st bottle in the mail. the lid was cracked. I told RTS this and I guess that is why they are sending me another bottle)
I never put all my eggs in 1 basket so I ordered a 250 ml bottle from Wizard Labs as well. Can never be to safe.

Rts shipping packaging and service is usually top notch. Never had a problem with their nic. If anything it didn't have enough th or kick for me. One of the lighter ones.

Other wise I bet mbv could use nicselect as its very popular with juice makers.

I highly, highly doubt they use usaLiqNic or Carolina ext., unless they just changed in the last year. I feel they probably stick with what they have Always used so the flavor profile of thier juice doesn't change.

I would bet RTS nic for mbv. Rts has 'claimed to be us sourced for years.. They are a large wholesaler not expensive and good nic.

If you really think it is RTS, I'll try some and see how I like it. After reading most of this thread, I know that I Don't want any NN or the like. MBV comes to me with color, the higher the strength the more color it seems. 6mg 50/50 is pretty clear, 18mg 50/50 is getting that "Rusty" type of color in it (that compared to plain 50/50 PG/VG). I definitely Don't want Smooth nic, I am Not a very sensitive taster after 52 years of tobacco and even being clean for just over a year. I will check it out on your word Jeremy. Thank You Sir.

MBV 12mg 50/50 seems to be peppery enough that I can taste it and feel it in my throat (mildly feel it, that is). I think that that's why I like it. Aged (like 2 months sitting closed in my basement) 6mg 50/50 has the same effect with "Pepperiness". It's NOT overpowering "Peppery", but it does add to the TH, 3mg 50/50 is almost nothing to me.

Thank You for that. I like the Harsher side (peppery) as opposed to the Milder side, and I also do 6mg/ml. in Lemo's and Cthulhu V2 RTA's.

I would like to know more about the nicotine rivers but I use 14-18mg nic. Wow1420 I did my nic mixes at 70%PG/30%VG - I did not do 50/50 as the VG gives me breathing trouble that high.

A little Off Topic I guess for this thread but, when I started out with AVE Juice Max VG (Boba's and Gryphon's Breath @ 6mg/ml) I liked it a lot. Then tried MBV for the price, and experimented with 50/50 Unflavored @ 6mg/ml also, and it was then that I noticed my chest loosen up, and have been at 50/50 ever since. My next stop will prolly be 70PG/30VG as I've noticed for a few months my chest tightening up I think again, of course I have been in the hospital 3 times this year for my heart (A-fib) and BP, so I'm not certain 100% on this, but will give it a try as you're posts intrigue me about it.

It was just a blatant guess, I've never vaped mbv.!.. Doesn't sound like it rts now. Rts is pretty clear with low flavor. But it is good clean nic. Your saving some money from here on out so its all good.

I like heavy th, pepper, ect like cyrus vapes the op.

Ecigexpress sells the nicselect and its the best overall value and tobacco taste in a flavored or "colored nic" imo.... Mfs is a good medium nic I'd say between the previous two.

Heavy th for me and the nic hits strong. The taste can come through in flavored juice. It is more of a chemical or quasi natural solvent I believe. Terpines?

I'll be mixing Unflavored and also Unflavored/Menthol 10:1, only 2 vapes for me these days, I like to Keep It Simple.

Distilled, De-Ionized, or plain old Filtered water, and why. I plan on using about 5% to start with, as I just tried 5% of plain old tap water and liked it in a 50/50 mix, it was different in a good way. I am a discriminating Vaper, to a point, but not ....-retentive (not as far as taste, I got Bad Buds). I will go back over cyrus's posts and glean what I can, Thanks for that Jeremy.

Edit: How long should I steep it, and is it best to steep before or after I do my mixes, if I do steep ?
