Hey I just found these on Ebay, I thought some of you folks might be interested. I AM NOT SELLING THESE. I just found them and wanted to share the info.

They are test kits that allow you to determine the nicotine level of your nic. juice, particularly helpful I'm sure to folks that make their own juice and extract their own nic from tobacco themselves. Just thought you might want to know about these!

I'm in the postage stamp and postal history for collectors business. Once on eBay, I offered a nifty Finnish picture card from World War II. It showed a Finnish Brewster Buffalo dogfighting with a German Messerschmitt Bf-109. The 109 was shown from the rear; the Buffalo was shown side view. Now, the World War II Finnish roundel (warplane identification marking) was a sky-blue swastika against a white background, and this was shown prominently on the fuselage of the Buffalo. You couldn't see any markings on the 109, which would have had a German swastika (black hakenkreuz on white background with a red band) on its tail.

eBay promptly yanked my listing and threatened me with NARU ("not a registered user," i.e., the eBay death penalty) if I ever offered that card on eBay again! Gimme a break: the Allies supported Finland during the Winter War.

If you are using this kit be aware that any organics in the juice will skew your results. It's an inherently flawed process, but I havnt seen any other way so far to accurately test for the nic level.

thanks Clinton, just ordered one.I got some stuff that really needs a test.I love my taylor pool kit have used one for over a decade and see a real need to test e-juice when you just do not know or remember.

Hello All. Just wanted to let you know I’m the one that has this for sale on ebay. Fray- Yes it is a decent price. It too cost me about $26-$28 to make my first kit a long time ago, of which half of it was shipping charges, lol. I’m not a vendor or anything, just a fellow Vapor’er. I just put this together and put it on ebay to help other vapor’ers out, since no single vendor sells all the supplies needed. Ridiculous to spend that much on shipping. There really is no profit in these.

BardicDruid- Its funny that you said eBay might ban it. Because they did remove it when I posted it at first, 3 weeks ago. They say eBay regulations don’t allow greater than 25% strength sulfuric acid, and since I didn’t post the strength, it wasn’t allowed. So I reposting stating its less than 1%, and all is good.

It is meant for plain pg/vg/nicotine. There are certain flavors which have some acids in them which can skew the results slightly, but I haven’t come across any yet. I mainly test on my plain stuff before I add flavor. But I have tested 15+ different flavors, and haven’t seen any skewed results yet, for the ones I tested, but I have read some posts out there that certain flavors can. Remember too, the margin of error, because some people have a hard time reading liquid levels, is +- 1-2mg/nicotine, and any acid in flavors should be less than that.

"This kit is good for up to 80+ individual tests, depending on the nicotine strength you are testing. For example, you will use about 1ml of .12N sulfuric acid for every 1ml/20mg nicotine juice you are testing. So you can test almost 100+ batches if the juice is 10mg strength, or about 30 tests, if its higher strength 30-40mg nicotine ejuice. You only use 2 drops of the blue per test, so 5ml will last you well over 100 tests."

Yea I try to ship them out same day if possible, next day at worst... my4jewels- Yes, and hwere from 30-80+ times depending on the strength of your juice. And I also have extra test solution if needed.

Dang, I wish this was for sale a couple months ago. I wanted to test my DIY juices, and did some searching. I found the procedures to test nic strength, but had a hell of a time finding supplies. (Yes I checked ebay at the time too)

I ended up buying a cylinder for $13 at a local hobby shop (or I could of bought one for $10 + $5 shipping) Then I bought 2 ounces of .12N at amazon for $4.75 plus $5 shipping. Then I bought 1 oz of the blue from a educational chemistry online supply store for $3 plus $4 shipping. So I spent almost $30 plus several hours of my time looking for everything. Waited a week to get everything in. oh well. Hopefully its stays on there for a while so I can order the test supplies when I run out.
