I didnt know that this was in development but caught my attention.
It will be an FDA approved nic inhalor that produces vapor much like the ecig and they say you only inhale one chemical. Its supposed to come out 2013-2015
Anyway, it could be good for those who are interested in it or in need of a different alternative.

Link to original info is in here...

Why all this emphasis on nic?
Quitting for me wasn't a nic problem. It was the psychological aspect of the hand to mouth habit.
Smoking becomes an invasive part of your lifestyle. tobacco becomes your friend, they celebrate your victories with you, they comfort you during your tragedies.

Isn't it the act of smoking, the physical sensation of inhaling, exhaling, flicking your ashes that permeate your senses?
Why the ....... is it that those who have no clue whatsoever about what it means to be a smoker is coming up with solutions to cessation?

How many ex-smokers do you know that told you about what they did to quit? So many of them have told me about the "substitutes" they came up with to keep their hands occupied.
Toothpicks, sunflowerseeds, etc. It's the mental comfort of the act , that keeps one coming back for more when they go without.

I'm sorry but this is sore spot for me. Sorry to rant, but it just seems like those who are the least qualified are trying to tell me what I should be doing. Thank you governing bodies that have no clue. So glad you're here to show me what's best.
On the same level as going out and hiring a plumber to install a ceiling fan.

From what I gather its supposed to be an improved nic inhalor much like the ecig, one that produces vapor if Im not wrong. Makes think they want a piece of thhe vaping pie.

Its true they will try to tear down our pv's for their monetary interests or rather lack of then develope their own stating "its ok NOW because its proven safe". Not that they would put any effort in getting any good word out about what we already have, again money.

But unfortunetely, some may find interest in it because of lack of knowledge of pv's, or if they cant tolerate the solution. It would be nice if knowledge grew fast in the time between now and when this thing comes out to give people a choice they can actually make themselves but if it doesnt they will make sure it does for the NPI.
