I've been vaping for about 4 months now and I've noticed that my nicotine tolerance is all over the map.

I dropped from 24mg to ~20mg over a month ago. (I use VG as a dilution method) I got some 18mg liquid from MBV and I spent the next 18 hours trying to keep the nausea at bay.

Is it possible to have your nicotine tolerance drop or vary from tank to tank?

I'm generally using 70/30 or 65/35 liquid with an iTaste VV V3.0 (at 4.0v) and a Protank II (at ~2.5ohms) if that makes a difference.

Some nicotine is more naturally derived than others. I have noticed this when I buy from my B&M shop over my online vendor. I can be Vaping 24mg from my online vender(which is pretty cheap juice) not feel anything and pick up a bottle of 18mg juice from my local shop and get a slight head lightness. So yes it is possible and it does happen.

Getting a shipment of juice and trying all the new flavors can sometimes "over nic" you a bit....:) Also finding your level of "how often, and how much" to vape can take some time. Vaping doesn't have a cutoff like smoking, you don't get to burn it to the filter and crush it out, you can chain vape much easier.

Dropping your nic level to 10 - 12mg in a couple small bottles and see if it works for you, or just put down the PV more often (I know it tough...) Also be sure to drink more than enough water, the nausea can also be a bit of dehydration.

I've dropped my nic from 24mg down to 8mg in just over a year. The only reason I started dropping my nic is because the higher nic was just getting to harsh for me. I do believe that it is easier to lower the nic intake when our bodies tell us it's time. Some people don't ever lower their nic and I've never heard of anyone that has needed to up their nic after finding the nic mg that they needed to quit smoking.

It's either your body is telling you it's time to lower, or inconsistencies in liquids.

There is also the who got interrupted while mixing what factor.
Processing may be hit and miss for purity/Taste/coloring but PPM is PPM and 18mg is 18mg, unless someone messed up.

Nausea could also just as well be from particular flavorings from differing chemical structures having an effect.
TFA is not Capella and capella is not Flavor West, etc.
Therefor Strawberry flavoring is not just Strawberry flavoring(or any other flavor chosen)

Then you have to have concern with Mix purity.

However this is no more than taking concerns over purchases of differing brands of products at the grocery store.
You find what works and you stick with those choices.

I'd be more suspicious of the various flavorings or the quality of the atty you're vaping since those can easily make you nauseus too, personally i've never experienced any kind of symptoms commonly attributed to too much nicotine, even if i happen to go through 3-4x more juice in one day while on a night out but have found quite a few flavoring agents that dont agree with me.
