As far as I know, most juice production facilities do not maintain large stocks of inventory, especially when the juices are custom formulated for a certain retail vendor. Factories ship out their juices as soon as they're made. If a vendor is selling juice like hotcakes---as is the case with Gene at NiteLite now---the bottles of juice a customer receives may be only about a week old when they arrive in the mail.
Maturing and melding of flavors typically take about 2-3 weeks, so, in the case of Bounty Hunter these days, steeping for at least a week and probably two is well-advised.
Personally, I never wait to vape any juice. Luckily for me, I'm not an "all-day vape" kind of guy---I vape about 20 different juices every day, so I don't burn through even small bottles of juice very fast, and 30ml bottles of my favorite juices may last six months. As a result, newly-arrived juices get what I think of as "de facto" steeping.
I seirously taste CC House Blend... kinda odd.
Yes, both Bounty Hunter and CC House Blend are near the top rank of my stable of daily juices, and I do find them to "lean" in a similar direction. The obvious difference is that Bounty Hunter is a vanilla blend, while CC House Blend uses chocolate. But that difference may not be all that significant, since both juices are formulated for subtlety in flavor combination rather than boldness or each flavor in the mix standing out individually.
Anyway, good luck. I hope your Bounty Hunter eventually tastes like Bounty Hunter.
I got some more Bounty Hunter in this week. Seems to be a totally different juice than when I first started vaping it. I taste more Copper Creek House Blend than Bounty Hunter in the BH.. losing the "graham cracker" taste too...
I did agree with Gene's e-mail about all the factors that might have influenced this change. But I have seen people on here claiming that after a little steeping time it is getting better. My only argument with that is Gene doesn't mix the juices, rather another company does, and sends them to NLV... so it should be pre-steeped (to a degree)
BTW Copper Creek raised their prices. I was really depressed. I think it is 16.50 for 30ml now. That is still ok I guess but I liked the other price better. She is also selling 120ml bottles for $55.
I ended up ordering only a 15ml bottle of House blend as well
I have a question...is NLV Cafe Latte really really sweet? I am thinking of trying it. I love coffee but haven't found a coffee vape that I like yet. I even tried VR Carmelized Cappacino but it was way to sweet and had too much caramel for me. What is NLV like?
Hello fellow NLV fans, I have joined the club due to all your excellent information, Thanks!
I posted a first impressions here ---> Link
Edit - BTW Bounty Hunter Original is back in stock! to bad I missed out on that one, but it gives me something else to look forward to trying!![]()
