I got the njoy Pro from 7-11. $20 for 5 cartos is killing me.

A nearby mall has "Smoke Free" branded e-cigs $150/$200 for 1 or 2 batt, but they're selling 5 cartos for $15 and make an even more grandiose claim of capacity than the njoy, but they do look bigger.

From searching the forums, I believe they are both 4081 batteries, so I'm thinking I could save a coupla bucks while I'm getting together the $$$ for my eGo I plan on upgrading to.

Immediate gratifcation is an issue here. The nJoy has turned me on to e-cigs a pack of analogues now lasts me about 3 days instead of 1, so I don't want to wait for delivery of cartos which I know I can get cheaper online, although this may me a good interim solution.

Does this seem like it'll work? At least as a short term solution?

And if anyone here has any experience dealing with the mall kiosk guys (I try to avoid it myself), do you think they'll haggle on the price of cartos?

Three words for you, KeithB: yes, yes, and yes! Thankfully you have seen through the Mall ecig con-job! These are generally over-priced, under performing, and they rope desperate smokers into paying out the wazzoo for cartos. Stay away!

For $150 you can set yourself up really great online if you use one of the recommended vendors here. The two types that people here generally start with are the 510 (kits are around $35) or the KR808D-1. The KR8 will only use cartomizers, but are long-lasting batteries and put out 3.7V working. The cartos can be bought for about $7 for 5, either filled with some flavored juice or blank to use fill with your own.

The 510 kits come with batts, atomizers and empty (or prefilled) cartridges. This is what I started with, and what I still use...sort of...what you will find is that there are a great many PVs that use 510 threading, but different batteries, different resistance atomizers, and also cartomizers. The 510 is a SYSTEM, where one can switch out pieces for a different vaping experience.

There are many other types too. I recommend spending some time here and learning more. Take a look at these forums:

Model Specific Discussion Especially the Joye 510 and KR808D-1 forums.

Also, DonDaBoomVape's "Wonderful World of Vaping" series is pretty much mandatory reading:

The ECF Library They are the stickies at the top.

Do some research, come up with some candidates to go with, and ask more questions from us before you buy. We generally do not promote particular vendors, but if you stick with those listed at the bottom of the home page, you should be in very good shape.

Good luck!
