I get this message no matter if I use my rsst or vivi nova. Both fire fine on my ego. I contacted highdesertvapes 4 days ago but haven't received a response.

I would see if your Vape store could first and as a last resort, If you cannot send it to anyone you can try to gently lift the center pin with a pair of needle nose. My Vamo had this problem and My vape store helped me
I took a small flat head screw driver and pulled the pin up slightly. It's vaping like a pro now. This thing is very sensitive though.
Happens when you over tighten things
yes, I understand the over-tightening problem. But I thought I was pushing the clearo piece up, but now I've learned I actually pushed the batt piece down. I had visualized the problem backwards.

RSST is simple. Reference any decent working Clearo for pin depth. Set center pin accordingly. USE a Tank support.

You'd think that they would come up with a better way of doing the center pin to avoid this common problem...
