Hmm... I don't have any experience with the smokalien, personally, I believe some folks have had that issue and it could be the 510 pin on the mod being stuck, or even gunked with a bit of juice? I'd try cleaning the mod thoroughly and focusing on the 510 pin and the battery contacts. Do you have another tank to try on it? It doesn't sound like a tank problem, but it might be wise to check, I really think it's more likely to be the 510 pin. Was the mod working and all that when your friend gave it to you? You might ask him if he's ever had that problem in the past, and what he did to fix it?

Best of luck,

Anna

I will look on it, but it works on other tanks, i tried my broken tank with no glass just to test and it worked, he said it worked perfectly fine when he had it

Well, it sounds like something is up with the center pin, at least for that tank. It really shouldn't be, since your tank and mod are both smok products right? But it seems that may be the issue. If your friend can't help, I would perhaps take it to a B&M to see if they can help with this issue-- maybe a small spacer would help?

Good luck!

Anna

I have couple tanks that have short 510 connections and any mod I put them on will scream "No atomizer" or "Check atomizer".

And this is a solution which you probably could find in the local shop - $2.20 Authentic Clrane 510 Finned Heat Sink for Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The above heat sink have an adjustable copper center pin so it will fix connectivity, prevent mod's 510 thread from damages and dissipate the heat.
Okay, I found some cheap of this on aliexpress, if it can fix the problem im willing to buy it

You can try taking the baby beast coil out.. Back the positive / base connector on the coil out a 16th of an inch. Screw coil back in and test without the tank on.
Found sometimes the positive post is pushed in a tad to much.
I don't suggest putting aluminum foil into the connection, sounds like a short waiting to happen!!!!

Tried everything... what should i do. I dont have money to buy another tank
As I stated B4, pull the bottom coil connector out 1/16 " ( Be gentle so not to disrupt the positive/negative coil connections),, screw back in to base and try base without tank assembled.
Pull/wiggle it out ever so slightly.
DONT PUT ALUMINUM IN THE 510 CONNECTOR!!!!

I'm thinking he will want a 25mm heat sink... Fitting the Baby Beast's 25mm tank width.
And yes, this might work!!!!

pin fix.jpg

Here is a pin made from a roofing nail. ( Someone gave me this tank. It was missing a few things, the pin here was one of the missing items.) WORKS FINE...
Here is my last thought, this may sound crazy, and a bit much for you...

A common roofing nail has a diameter that fits the insulator on the bottom of tanks.
You'll need ,,, Vise Grips.. Electricians (Linesmen Plyers)Plyers/Cutter...Metal File... Metal cutting snips.. ( And of course, a roofing nail. )
Remove the pin from bottom of tank..
With a toothpick, see how far up you need to touch the bottom of the coil...
With the Tin Snips,, cut the nail head as best as possible...( Rounded )
With File, round it off better. ( While holding the nail with the Vise Grips.)
Cut the length measured with the toothpick.. ( A 16th longer,, You can spec the size lower with file if needed.) Using the cutters on the plyers. ( Squeeze the cutters at the location,,, rotate the nail and squeeze again,, repeat 3/4 times. Nail will cut pretty clean. File as needed. )
Push into tank bottom connector making sure its not sticking out to far, and not shorting out against the tank bottom sides.
