I get to go from KS to San Diego and planned on using an e-cig to keep from killing someone on the 30 plus hour trip! No love!
At least we have a sleeper car, maybe I can stealth vape?

Hun, if I can vape in a hospital, without them knowing it, then I don't see why you can't do it on a train, without them knowing it. Take a jacket, pretend like you are sleeping, by leaning up against the window, and put it over your face, and vape away. I vaped the whole entire night, during my hospital stay, over a month ago, under the sheets, and they never knew about it.​

Saw sir can't say I'm surprised, all it takes it's a few people to complain about it and a company will ban them rather than deal with the headaches. A favorite brew pub of mine is no longer allowing ecigs for that very reason. Doesn't mean you can't stealth vape, or vape in the bathroom though.

It most certainly is - which is why, of course, it's in such bad fiscal shape!
I vote with everyone else: vape in bathroom and/or stealth vape at your seat!

Why they calling it "Electronic smoking devices" then "Such as E-cig". This is not smoke. They are mistaken in my mind and I would VAPEORIZE away. No smoke here.

Like everyone states above I would hide it and not worry no one will know for sure.

I just can not believe the wording they use. They are making it out to be what its not.

What bothers me about these policies, is forcing those that vape, to do so with smokers. Forcing us to inhale the second hand smoke we are trying very hard to avoid.

If the public truly feels the need to avoid our vaping, we should be provided our own area.

If u have a sleeper car, u shouldn't have any problems at all. Just watch for overloadig the room w/vapor. I've heard it CAN set off smoke detectors.

On another note : have u postedthis in the travel section? Or the political area? I'm sure they'd be interested.

It's no wonder Amtrak is dying! Here I sit, the train is an hour and half late, the pay phone is broken, the water fountain is broken and you can't park longer than nine hours in this God foresaken town! I'm impressed so far!
Being tired and having a six and 11 year old along at 3am doesn't help much either!
Good times so far!
