No More "Real" Kant?

I wandered over to the V4L to place an order and was going to get many bottles of my favorite, Kant. But when I looked at the image, I saw it had been stamped "Premium Flavor" like several others. Now as I noted in one of the premium review threads, the premium Kant is not as good as the original. It has a stale flavor in comparison. Like when you got depserate one day and decided to smoke that cigarette that you found under the living room couch and don't know how long it had been there. Yeah....that kind of flavor difference.

Will I not be able to get the old Kant anymore?

I spent nearly a month testing tobacco flavors and that is the one that came closest to my smoking days.

I remember reading on a thread somewhere that Leaford mentions 'phasing out' all the old cartos...I really wish they wouldn't as the 'old' cartos are like good friends I can always depend on. I do like the prem cartos for the most part, still I want to always have my Kamel and Butterscotch the way they are

The cartos themselves are great. Snap, crackle and pop....and lots of vapor. But I mix my juices using the V4L flavors as the base....and thought the juice flavors would be retained, just not the old-style cartos.

It has a premium pic but the 9.95 cost so I assume it is reg.

I would stock up as Leaford did say they would be phasing everything into the premium.

I'm pretty sure they said that they still have the "old"juice just a "new"pic..When they go premo with the juice trust me you'll never hear the end of it!!

I read that, too, which is why I'm ordering only premiums now. I need to "phase in" the new prem cartos since I've already gone cold turkey once lately!

BTW, Maxx, based on your recommendation for the old PG Kants, I ordered some prem Kants for my wife. Stale or not, they work fine for her. Thanks for that.

If I hadn't already tried the old Kant prior to premium, I might still have landed on it. But if you like the premium flavor....try to snag some old ones. More fresh flavor, even if less vapor.

The 5ml is the same, as we have not received new stock on those. There was a mixup on the site where some of the photos were shared. I'm trying to restore all the correct images.

If something is working, why change it? I am angry and sad about the blue Parliaments going away. Why does V4L keep changing flavors? If I can't depend on consistency, what is the point? This is very poor business. Ready for the rabid V4l defenders to flame me.

No flaming here... evil: Ok, I fibbed... but that's the only one, I promise!)

From my understanding, they are going to phase in the new soft (and easily removable) rubber mouth pieces for all the premiums - refill issue will be resolved.

Love the higher vapor for the most part... but like the lower vapor too since I have to stealth vape at work. Hanging onto all my old cartos for just that reason.

My problem is that the juice recipes change constantly. What is the problem? I can't expect consistency from V4L and that is just WRONG. Several of us really loved the old blue Parl's. Too bad, we've changed the recipe. It's like a guessing game, what will my Hiltons and Kants taste like?

This is part of the reason the change is being made. For the longest time, we didn't know what we were going to get. We would order the same flavor... expect to receive the same flavor... and get something different. Which is what happened with the Parlament flavor. Since Leaford has been in China he has been building our catalog of flavors, and is keeping samples in both carts and juice so that there can be more consistency.

I stealth vape at work too and lots of vapor was never my thing anyway. I hope V4L keeps a 'oldie but goodie' section for the cartos that are being phased out!
