No nic = no flavour?

I recently starting creating mixes with no nicotine. I thought it would be as simple as replacing the PG nicotine from my previous recipes (that worked) with normal PG. This doesn't seem to be the case because I'm not getting the same, if any, flavours as I did when I included nicotine, even after steeping for the same number of days (sometimes more).

Is it the throught hit your talking about. If so it's the NIC that provides the throught hit. Theres no decent workaround for that I'm afraid.

I've noticed a vendor juice taste totally different to me, and NOT good at 12-18mg, but it taste great and is one of my ADV's of choice at 24mg. So I have to buy it like that to enjoy it, all other vapes, DIY or even from that vendor, I enjoy 12-18mg

I've not tried this myself yet but lots of people in the UK add a little vodka for throat hit.

I was mixing no nic for quite a while and didn't have any issues, th decreased slightly but no other issues
pertaining to flavor...

I mix the same recipes with and without NIC and have not had any issues with flavor. The flavor has been the same, TH of course is different and that nic feeling in the nose is gone, but that seemed normal to me without NIC. MY menthol mix even has some decent TH. without Nicotene

Can you post one of your no nicotine recipes that might make it easier to see what's going on.

I always increase my flavor on 0 nic mixes for my wife. Without it, it is hard to taste. Never tried vodka for throathit though. Great idea.
