However many authorities do not think e-cigarettes with or without nicotine should be approved. They believe the device imitates actual smoking and may be a road to tobacco addiction for the young because this undermines the whole idea of showing tobacco as a harmful addiction.

It's an idea that should be undermined.

It's the SMOKE, Stupid!

Tobacco, per se, is not a "harmful addiction." Dr. Fagerstrom has proven that most of the harmful substances can be eliminated from smokeless tobacco.

The nicotine that is in tobacco helps many of us be productive members of society, much like the caffiene that is in coffee, tea, or cola helps people stay alert and productive.

The "tobacco is harmful" assertion needs to be challenged.
