Ahahahaha

Start with eGo-T with matching color eVod, along with 1.8 ohm replacement heads.

Dont worry, being that its America, youre not alone on your mathematics & physics frustration (no offense, but seriously guys... At least know high school stuff will ya? Lol) so simple products are plenty.

For some (not mentioning names ) it's been a very long time since H.S. math.

For the beginner, or noob, both of my suggestions have already been mentioned.

1. Add about 2.0 to the resistance, the ohms on your topper, to determine starting voltage, and adjust voltage up or down to suit taste, vape, etc. (Assumes you have a variable voltage battery/device).
2. Get a variable wattage advanced personal vaporizer (APV), sometimes called a mod, and set the power to the level that works for your vape preference, and it will get very close to giving you a consistently good vape. Adjust as necessary.

Forget the math, at least at this point, it's simply not necessary. After you have quit for a while, become addicted to vaping and amassing new gear, follow chart. After comfort is reached with chart, your quest for the "Perfect Vape" has become all-consuming, learn Ohm's Law, as mentioned previously.

In the meantime, enjoy the heck out of vaping and not smoking, and being part of a community that really does understand where you're coming from, that's supportive and helpful, full of information, can endlessly answer any question you may have, and thousands you would never dream of. Welcome to ECF and congrats on getting here! Good luck and Vape On!

lol You're just mean

I do admit to watching a few conversations about DIY out of the corner of my eye and that's probably not too far in my future. I'm a much better cook than electrician. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure why the lights come on when I flip the little switch but I make a mean homemade chili.

Here's the deal.

You can make using an e-Cigarette as Easy or as Hard as you want to.

If you want to make it Easy, just buy a Variable Voltage (VV) device. Don't have to know how it works. Just what the buttons do. Kinda like a Microwave. Most people don't have a Clue what makes a Microwave work. Or about things like Ground State or Electromagnetic Emissions.

But they know that the Higher they set the Power, the hotter the Food Gets.

So pick up a VV device like an eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner, start the lowest setting, 3.0 volts, and take a hit. If you like it. Your Done.

If the Hit tastes weak, increase the volts by .1 volts. Repeat as needed. You'll know when to stop increasing the volts because Sooner or Later the hit will taste Burnt.

Doesn't matter that you don't understand Ohms Law or Maxwell's Equations. Just use the VV device like a Light Dimmer on a Lamp. Start Low and move Up until you find what you like.

BTW - People who can make 5 Star Chili also tend to be Good at making DIY e-Liquids. People with Chemistry Degrees, or the Elite Class who have Math Degrees, may be be Good at DIY. But seldom can make Killer Chili.

If they hold Both, an Advanced Degree in Chemistry and or Math AND can make Great Chili, then they should be Feared. Because those are the Type of people who Secretly Plot at night to take over the World. Many times while eating Homemade Chili.

After 3-4 days on the forum, I would like to say that no one told me I was joining a group of rocket scientists! lol They didn't tell me there would be math... they didn't tell me I would need to be an electrician. I don't know what volts and ohms and mAhs even are!

So for those of us who couldn't balance a checkbook, even when we used checkbooks, please... for the love of vaping... tell us what setups we can use without hiring a tutor or buying a new calculator.

Please. For the love of vaping.

..............S !............Math>>s.....>>>>Maths<<<<:)

To quote my mom,

Where as you may sit in a Dark Room and probe the Fundamental Relationships of Ring Theory or Dream Up some Really Nasty Non-Linier Differential Equations to put on a Mid-Term, at least we don't have to worry about you Plotting to Take Over the World while Eating Homemade Chili.

No necessarily. If you're using a standard device, it at least helps you to know what resistance is too high to really shine at 3.7-4 volts.

You people are making me think the simplest eGo started kit with prefilled cartomizers is really the way to go. Only I rarely choose the obvious path so..

I wouldnt go with prefilled cartomizers. The liquids in them are rarely good and i suspect some may even prove dangerous (at least on a mild level). The eVod is simpler than pretty much anything i have used, and a eGo kit with matching eVod is like $9. Here

$9.27 EGO-EVOD 2-in-1 USB Rechargeable 900mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - red / 2.6

And then you go to discountvapers.com and buy "replacement eVod/ Kanger 1.8ohm heads". Done.

Seriously,

I don't want you to be afraid of a multiplication and division, maybe a square root. All the computers you are using have a calculator available. It really sucks that a VW e-cig could be smarter than me. So I don't let it get there. I figured it out.

There's not much math at all. We usually only need one formula for all of vaping not counting DIY juice. DIY e-juice is ratios/percentages but can be made to be simple too.

You don't NEED any of it. Just know what ohms you like. What nic amount. How much PG and how much VG.

An eGo Kit with some Pre-Filled Cartos would be a Great way to get Started. I'd spend a Few Extra Bucks and get an eGo Twist Kit verses an Regular eGo.

It probable won't be the Last PV that you will buy. But Very Few people start of with a Provari and some Time Intensive RBA.

Any Kit you buy that gets you Off or Keeps you Off Cigarettes is a Good Kit.

I've threatened several times to make an e-cig with a dial on it...it just says "cooler" and "warmer" with arrows. No numbers. Maybe color gradient from cool blue to hot red or something (even though that's not how heat colors work).

I'd get a VV something-or-other. Some carts and a bunch of different juice samples. If you can, get two so you can charge one and have the other. You may want a syringe or something to fill the cartos.

I would totally buy some of those. They would make great kits to give out to try and convert a few of my friends. Sell them with a couple of evods and a charger. I don't think it gets anymore simple than that.
