I bought an RN4081 passthrough about a year ago from https://aquavaporcig.3dcartstores.com/. Works great, but I think it's a higher voltage than the regular battery. It burns through atomizers pretty quick if I chain vape.

I just hit the website for a minute and couldn't easily locate the passthrough, but if you email them about it, they'll get back to you if they still carry them. I have found them to be a good company to deal with.

I have had and used the RN4081 for over a year and it is my favorite ecig above all. I have been looking into getting a super mini that has more availability when it comes to parts since its like playing russian roulette getting stuff shipped to Canada over the border. One that comes to mind is the DSE 306, has anyone tried this one and compared it to the RN4081?

What is the main difference in longevity and performance between a cartomizer and an atomizer for the RN4081?

Are there any Canadians on here that can let me know where to get parts for the RN4081 from canuck friendly vendors? The only place I was able to find that might make it is Wholesale RN4081 Super Cigarette - Dropship wholesale RN4081 Super Cigarette - Discount wholesale RN4081 Super Cigarette from China

Has anyone used this chinese vendor?

A friend gave me some pretty good carto's from Good prophets I believe its called the double deuce sells for $8.99 for a 5 pack on the site. I prefer carto's for the convenience, but normal atty's do perform a bit better and give a bit more taste. Longevity well in most cases an atty will last longer but I've had some carto's that have also lasted a really long time, but I also swap alot I usually have several carto's loaded up with different flavors so I dont puff and refill the same one all day long. azsmokefree.com has a decent selection of rn4081 stuff I dont know what the shipping policy is with canada though, also avoid their prefilled carto's they're craptacular the empty's aren't bad.

I did buy some RN4081 cartos from AquaVaporCig (recently, so my memory's good on that one!) and I liked them very much. I still use my RN4081 from time to time, usually in public, because the Wetbox draws some weird looks. But I hate refilling standard carts. The cartomizers hold more juice and seem to be holding up well. I have yet experienced failure, and I've refilled a few several times. One thing though is that the vapor production is decreased after refilling as compared to when pre-filled and new.

Oddly enough, my experience with 510 cartomizers is totally different. I have yet to get more than 3 days out of these before the die on me or drop off so much on TH and vapor that they're essentially useless. So I am assuming the RN4081 cartos, like the RN4081 attys, are pretty much bulletproof.

Honestly, SmokeStik is your best bet. They have the best auto switch I've ever tried. It is actually an airflow sensor, and provides the most Cigarette like experience I've had from a PV. They currently have gold batts for $15, and IMHO that is your best bet. SmokeStik ::: Alternative Smoking

I keep my 4081 around for the same reason.

I got the E2 V4 carto's last week and they've been going strong with no drop off yet.

Just visited the VaporKings website. They have various parts for the 4081. For instance description of replacement battery:

"Replacement e-Cigarette battery for RN4081 (Same as Njoy NPRO or SE Gold) e-Cigarettes
This is a replacement white with orange LED e-Cigarette battery for the RN4081 e-Cigarettes. If you own one of these classic e-Cigarettes then you know how well they work even today! I still smoke mine from time to time!

These RN4081 batteries will also work on SLB DSE103 atomizers. This is also a direct replacement for the SmokingEverywhere Gold e-Cigarette battery and NJoy NPRO battery. Exact same manufacturer!

We also carry blank refillable cartridges and atomizers that are 100% compatible with these RN4081 batteries. You can use this RN4081 battery on an NJoy NPRO or SmokingEverywhere e-Cigarette."

VaporKings has battery adapters but they cost a lot more than the ones I just ordered from GoodProphets. VK's might be a higher quality but don't know. I'll be ordering from them soon (USB universal charger @$6.95) so I might just order one of their more costly "510 battery to 4081 atty" adapters to see if they are worth the extra cost.

I am using a GP KR8 to rn4081 adapter on my V4L PT. Works great. Worth saving a few bucks.
