Wow MK, was I driving that? Lol. Looks like how some of my cars ended up...

Glad you weren't hurt!
You know the saying "when it rains it pours"? ≤-------my life right now...
Today I was stepping over the baby gate when leaving the kitchen, my toes caught on the gate, the glass in my hand and my chin met the Bannister, my knee met the wall, and my back and elbow met the corner of the wall behind me. When you're a kid and you fall, you cry for a minute, get dusted off by mom and it's all forgotten in minutes. As an adult, not so lucky. We fall harder and the pain sticks around longer. Even more interesting, our brains think faster and it all feels like slow motion, we can feel ourselves going and know what's about to hit, but we can't react fast enough to stop it. Afterwards it even feels like it happened instantly and we even forget what all happened during the fall anyway, we just have pain left as a reminder lol. Took me a few minutes to get up, the shock and pain kept me still until i could asses the damage. My knee hurts when i accidentally touch it, my chin and elbow are both fine, but my back isn't very happy with me right now! It may bruise, but it's sore now, and I'm sure I'll be sore all over in the morning. I also worried that i might have broken my toes again, but they were fine after awhile, and I somehow hit my bad wrist in there somewhere, though it couldn't have been too bad since I'm not noticing any difference than usual.
I'm sure the way I fell looked pretty comical, and Hubbs probably would have been laughing his ... off. Fortunately only my 3 year old and 18 month old were there, so i at least saved myself some ridicule
