Wow MK, was I driving that? Lol. Looks like how some of my cars ended up... Glad you weren't hurt!

You know the saying "when it rains it pours"? ≤-------my life right now...

Today I was stepping over the baby gate when leaving the kitchen, my toes caught on the gate, the glass in my hand and my chin met the Bannister, my knee met the wall, and my back and elbow met the corner of the wall behind me. When you're a kid and you fall, you cry for a minute, get dusted off by mom and it's all forgotten in minutes. As an adult, not so lucky. We fall harder and the pain sticks around longer. Even more interesting, our brains think faster and it all feels like slow motion, we can feel ourselves going and know what's about to hit, but we can't react fast enough to stop it. Afterwards it even feels like it happened instantly and we even forget what all happened during the fall anyway, we just have pain left as a reminder lol. Took me a few minutes to get up, the shock and pain kept me still until i could asses the damage. My knee hurts when i accidentally touch it, my chin and elbow are both fine, but my back isn't very happy with me right now! It may bruise, but it's sore now, and I'm sure I'll be sore all over in the morning. I also worried that i might have broken my toes again, but they were fine after awhile, and I somehow hit my bad wrist in there somewhere, though it couldn't have been too bad since I'm not noticing any difference than usual.

I'm sure the way I fell looked pretty comical, and Hubbs probably would have been laughing his ... off. Fortunately only my 3 year old and 18 month old were there, so i at least saved myself some ridicule :p

Got a bruise and scrape on my knee, toes appear to be OK, small scrape on the elbow. My back is SORE! I knew it would be, but maybe not like this. Apparently I also bruised my ... lol, didn't notice until I sat on a hard surface. Other than that, all good!

It was actually a glass of apple juice lol; 3/4 of which soaked into the carpet. It was a thick glass and didn't move very far, my hand was already close to the banister anyway.

Good afternoon everyone!

Generation Y is up to 14 members! Hooray!

I saw my crush last night. He snaked his way around a bunch of people to come up and say hi to me. I was the first person he said hi to...but I couldn't stay because I had work in the morning. My roommate is suggesting I invite him out to a happy hour in Manhattan but I'm just too scared. >.<

Pretty, did the kids get scared? I can just imagine them both in hysterics. Young kids scare pretty easily, especially when it's Mom, who they seem to think is surrounded by a force field that protects her from all bad things! If they were teenagers, they'd be laughing at you!

Lol, no, they were just looking at me like "oh, that's interesting". Then the 3 year old walked up to get a closer look lol.
