When did you think would be a good time to share this with us buddy? I rather spent a few bucks more if it's better for my reo. Thanks for the info good sir

In this video I shot over a month ago I go into great detail on Deoxit use on both the mod and batteries :)

I only apply noalox to the area under the spring where I filed off the paint. I use deoxit there on my TRA REO.

Here's the vid:

I got my deoxit gold 100% solution pen from caig on Amazon.

I just reminded myself to apply it to my new batteries :)

I remembered to apply Deoxit to my new batteries as soon as I unwrapped them.
Another thing I do is, when I change batteries, I always give a couple real quick fires with the door off, and look close for any arcing.

That's what I do too, i check maybe 2 times a day when changing battery, then clean and reapply that evening if i see arcing
Even with low ohm builds (.4) it generally lasts around one week (that's with a reo which sees around 20ml a day, so ymmv).
Also i use copper conductive grease (belleville) in place of noalox or deoxit. Never tried Deoxit, but i find it works better than noalox.
In any case what you really want is a thin film on the region where the contact is made. The surest way to have that seems to put a small dot and let the battery squash it. Putting too much can in fact cause arcing very fast, probably because you end up with a non plane surface.

Also the other day i was getting mad arcing and voltage drop
which i couldn't pinpoint, even after reapplying grease at the pos terminal and under the spring.
I finally remembered that the day before some sand had been in contact with the Reo and for a short time the button was all screetch screetch.
Some sand must have stayed inside, and the button probably didn't go all the way down. Anyway i cleaned the reo with water as per Rob recommendations, reapplied grease and all has been well since.
