Nob question. Can you put just water in a Ego t tank?

I wouldn't want to try vaporizing hydrogen peroxide, as I'm dubious of the safety of such an act.

Vaporizing water is possible, but usually requires a lot of airflow across the coil. It shouldn't leak through, I'd imagine.

I don't think that it would be very effective at cleaning the gunk off of the coil, but I could be wrong. It would probably take a lot longer than dry burning, if it did work.

Dry burning the coil works because the coil is able to get red hot when no liquid is in the wick, and that causes the gunk to turn to ash, which is easily rinsed away. As long as you only let it get red hot for a few seconds at a time, you shouldn't pop the coil. The factory-installed wicks are made of silica, which can withstand those temperatures.

IF your battery is a sealed type like an eGo, you should have no problems. There's even a thread about Vaping with water.

I'm not sure if the eGo T Tank atomizer section is the same as the eGo-C A tanks I use (I think the tank itself is the only difference, but I may be wrong), but if so, I have a cleaning method for these that works a treat ...

I just remove the tank and set the entire cone assembly in the sink. Using a 10ml oral syringe (no needle in these; they are basically a 2-tsp meds dispenser for kids and many pharmacies give them away) filled with HOT water, I place the tip of the syringe over the spike of the atomizer and slowly press the plunger home. The hot water goes through the atty and spurts out the bottom of the cone. I do this three or four times, and then I do the same thing with an empty syringe and pump air through it five ot six times to expel almost all of the remaining water. I then just disassemble the whole thing—atty, base, and cone—and dry them off thoroughly. Then reassemble, reinstall tank, and vape away. One note, since the wick inside the atty is still damp with water, the first three or four draws will produce little or no vapor ... in fact, the first time I tried this little trick, I thought the thing was dead. But no, just keep drawing with pauses between, and it slowly but surely comes back to life and after 10–12 draws, back to full strength! Works great for me, and I haven't lost an atty yet. YMMV, of course ...

Yea they mention it on a thread on here. Look up Hydrogen Peroxide. You can't inhale it that would be a bad thing and I suspect you have to let it evaporate before you can us it.

Yeah hydrogen peroxide is used as rocket propellant! It's very dangerous!! Always wear protective clothing when using it!

/end deceptive rant

Yah, it is/was a rocketfuel, but that's at like really high concentrations(90+%?). The stuff from the drug store is only 3% abouts. It reacts when in contact with metal (think oxyclean) and will dissolve dead organic tissue (wound treatment/oral debriding). I woudln't want to inhale it, but it's not like it'd eat your lungs out I don't think. It'd just taste really nasty...

For cleaning a atty, the metal/hydroP would cause it to bubble, and lift off the stuff caked on the coil and it may help breakup the gunk a bit too. I plan on testing this in a week, but right now, just going on the various reviews, I'd have to go with 90%+ alchohol, since it'd evaporate faster and not leave a residue. Alchohol bath , followed by some hydroP, followed by a alchohol rinse perhaps. Might not need a dry burn then, just let it dry.

Yea but the kind used in rocket propellant is at like 99% pure. I use 3%.
FYI it was Hydrogen Peroxide that caused the sinking of the Russian Sub Kirsk. At that time they were using it for a propellant in their Torpedoes. Also when you see that guy using a Rocket pack that is powered by H202.
