the hotspot is inbetween the mesh and the positive post. tried closing the gap but to no avail
Hey guys another tip to share.
If any of you are looking for a small enough washer to fit, you can DIY it yourself, no need to look around for it so hard in hardware stores.
If you have spare CE4 or ViviNova heads, just remove the rubber 'condom' at the top and use the metal cap. I sanded mine down on one side till it's flat and just about 1mm sanding on the other side. After that i removed 1 screw from the AGA-T+ center post and used this DIY'ed washer for the middle screw.Just make sure the flat part of the 'washer' is at the top. Works and fits nicely, specially when i use the flat kanthal on it, no need to twist and turn so much to fit it in.![]()

i keep getting hotspots on the top coil for the aga-t. on the verge of giving up, any advice how to eliminate them?
i know what you mean =) the top coil only got hotspot but the rest all dont have right? then u humtum juice inside alr? i coil tighter at the top forcing it nearer to the positive pole, then drip some juice on it to let it oxidase the coil that it about done for me =)
