Ok, I didn't bother to read the entire thread because some of these replies will piss me off. Those of you telling Jessika to flat out not do it are no better than the ANTZ imo. Personally I would rather her take up vaping instead of smoking or any of the myriad of deadly narcotics prescribed willy nilly for stress or even the "substsance that shallnot be named"

That being said the spinner and vivi nova type tank you have are good starter products. Once you get the hang of those the fun starts. First with the flavor hunt and later on if you enjoy it the gear upgrads. For now your off to a good start for a reasonable price. A couple things to note for safety reasons….stay away from dekang liquids be it rebranded or not. Those are the ones a lot of the impurities are found in and their QC IS HORRIBLE. Stay away from no name gear and stick with trusted brands like vision, kanger, joytech, Itaste, etc.

I know a lot of non smokers that turned to vaping as a way of relaxing without heavy medications and once they find their sweet spot it tends to work well. I also have a neigbor that replaced his parkinsons meds in part with vaping 18mg nic juice with his doctors supervision after seeing the study of nicotine affect in parkinsons patients and it has made a big difference in the severity of his symptoms. If vapin appeals to you then feel free to try it and see how it works out for you. IT is ultimately YOUR choice and some of us will be here to support you in your journey. This is a great community of people.

Thank you so much Ca Ike. I really appreciate it. I glad to hear I made a good start with gear, which most people said. I'm also glad to hear that I didn't overpay too much. I do look forward to vaping, and would love if it could help with things like my stress, anxiety, and/or depression. Even better if it could help get off any medication I'm taking. I will discuss things with my doctor(s) as well.

Carbonated water with a tiny bit of cranberry juice (or a squeezed wedge of lemon/lime) got me off soda completely. Vaping definitely helps curb my snacking though.

I donly drink enough water. It's something I'm planning to change. I want to try fruit infused water. I think it would help. I drink too much juice and soda. I think it's great that vaping has helped so many people with bad habits such as smoking, overeating, etc..

Don't worry about it, I won't hold it against you. You've got no moral responsibility to be an apologist for those who smoked for the sake of appeasing the intolerant. The food industry is killing far more people than smoking ever has by a wide margin and has no moral qualms, yet McDonalds enjoys record profits and the sugar industry still sells a product that has been scientifically proven to have no nutritional value and high toxicity. Try 30 days of Big Macs versus 30 days of vaping and see how you feel after the Big Macs.

I'm just tired of seeing vapors getting sucked into being apologists for their choices. Its simply wrong. I'm intolerant of intolerance.

I love your intolerance

Omg I BEYOND agree with you. McDonald's drives me insane!!! Within minutes of eating I feel just flat out grossly full. Then my boyfriend and toddler get the Mc.....s...

Vaping probably has unseen risks. My own mother has now started complain about vaping. Claiming its unhealthy, all while she pounds beers and has an analog in hand. We all know there are health risks, but they gotta be less than an analog. I don't understand people that vape when they have never smoke. My boyfriend has never smoked but he did a zero nic for a few weeks. Now he just hits mine once in a blue moon, and ends up in the fetal position coughing haha. Whatever floats your boat. With other health issue I always think it's good to consult a doc, even when changing diets. I talked about vaping with my doc when I was prego to insure that it wasn't effective my little.

Most of those fruit infused waters taste like crap compared to getting unflavored carbonated water and adding a tiny bit of real fruit juice or fresh squeezed fruit to them. The key is to get yourself away from the super sweet drinks. After awhile, you won't want them again. I don't even drink straight cranberry or apple juice anymore. They are so strong that they gross me out. If I want uncarbonated cranberry juice, I will fill my glass with water about 80% and then fill the rest with cranberry.

If your boyfriend wants to Vape why doesn't just stick with 0 Nic juices instead of using yours? Why end up in the fetal position coughing up a lung? Lol.

You're so right. I will definitely consult my doctor. I already planned to do so. What did the doctor tell you? If you don't mind sharing.

I bet. I'm not going to over do it. I'm gonna try with fresh fruit. Definitely lemon. Eventually, add mint leaves. Maybe even cucumber and/or strawberries.

My wife drinks filtered water with slices of cucumbers, lemons, limes, and mint leaves. It's redicoulously good.

Cognitive dissonance. She probably loves her analogs and doesn't want to be challenged by something new. Easier to dismiss alternatives as unhealthy than it is to simply say "I choose to continue to smoke." No offence, that's just the sign of an unresolved human being. I had to convince my mother and it took some doing, but eventually she came around and now can't stand cigs and vapes instead. Thats after 63 years of smoking. I'm surprised she still hasn't developed lung cancer. But at 77 something's going to get her, its just a matter of time.

Hello everyone. My name is Jessika. I'm 28 years old. I am new to the forum and Vape World. I've been doing research for a little while. Although I'm not a smoker, I am very very interested in vaping. I took a puff or two off a cigarette when I was really young. My cousin got one from that a relative was about to put out during the 4th of July to light firecrackers with. We snuck and took puffs off of it. That's my smoking story, if that even counts. LOL. I don't like cigarettes. The smell of them bothers me tremendously. I don't like being around people that smoke them because they make it hard for me to breathe and sometimes make my stomach hurt. They really bother my health. I do have a few health issues: Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, Asthma, Acid Reflux, just to name a few. Which is why I got my boyfriend to start vaping. It was working until he broke it. He has yet to get another. He's definitely going to have to though. I myself, would like to start vaping. I will definitely be using 0 nicotine juices. I'm only interested in the flavored vapor. I know people turn to other things that aren't as healthy to deal with stress. Some have been suggested to me. I'd rather go this route. I'd eventually like to learn some neat tricks as well.

I recently purchased a Rainbow Spinner 900mah, with a tank (I don't know what kind, along with 1 peach and 1 strawberry juice online. I paid $62. I just ordered them the other night, so I haven't received them.

I'm wondering did I make a good decision as far as equipment and price? I would really appreciate any help and feedback.

Depending on what the price of the tank is as well as the juice normally I'm not 100% sure if it was a good price or not. I got a spinner 900 and it was roughly 26 dollars and I know the majority of people recommend not vaping if you're not a smoker but if you're like me you don't like people telling you not to do something, I dont see a problem with it as long as you do know that there are health risks which aren't all known yet

might sound like a jerk but I really don't care, I don't like people who vape who don't need it, think its cool or whatever, I need vaping to quit smoking and help me, I was close to cancer and this is helping me alot

So you are the only one who can decide who needs vaping? That need must be because someone is a smoker? I am not sure who died and made you the vape police..
Please note that people vape for may reasons other than quiting smoking. Like the flavors stave off an appetite and may help with weight loss. (many have reportd this)
OR the medicinal qualities of nicotine. OR because of stress they would have started smoking but elected this route instead.

Have any of you read the terms of service you agree with when you use this website? It starts off with " if you do not agree with any statement here YOU WILL leave the Website immediately" and then goes on with "Ecigarettes should not be purchased or used except by persons who are already smokers of tobacco products."

It appears to me that anyone saying it is OK for a non smoker to vape should leave immediately according to the TOS.

It's a good thing the ECF picks and chooses what parts of the TOS to enforce.

I would just stay away from vaping you dont want to get the nicotine habit if you already dont have one. its the hardest addiction to break but if you really want to vape make sure you get 0mg E-juice
