I also started with a blu got sick of how quick the battery runs out and how hard they are to draw from so I picked up a ego twist and smoktech Redux clearos and I am loving it

Most of the suggestions you will get will suggest that you spend more money on larger ecigs. But, it seems you only have an issue with many of the Blu cartomizers. Before you spend more money on another setup, and considering you like the Blu with PCC, why not improve the setup you already have? buy some standard resistance 510 cartomizers since they will fit the Blu ( or some blank Volcano cartomizers ) and you can buy some smoke juice from the same Volcano site to simplify your ordering. Fill your own and see if that solves the issue you have been having and save you some money. You may also be able to return your Blu cartomizers, since they are one of the VERY few who guarantee their cartos.
You can always buy some bigger ecig later if that does not solve your problem, and you will be able to use the cartos and juice you bought on any new 510 setup, if you decide to go that route.

The Volt mini with a CE3 has excellent performance. Granted, if you are looking for an all day battery, you won't get it but they stay at a regulated 3.7 volts and the Ce3 has amazing vapor/taste/th. you'll need a couple batteries to get you through the night but the performance is just as good as a bigger battery, just less life.
If you want the cig-a-like experience and are expecting great performance, grab a Volt mini. I have a few and chqrge a couple at a time and the vape experiece is great.
Jetcigs.com also sells blu compatible cartomizers. Their flavors are quite tasty and I had good consistency with them. I haven't bought from them since they were A new company though so I would hope their products are as good as they were several months ago. If you want to keep your blu and use blank cartomizers you will want to buy 306 cartomizers they are the same ones you are used to I'm size. You can also put 510 cartomizers on your blu batteries they are just slightly larger around and hold more liquid.
Volcano also has blank L88 cartos, in addition to pre-filled ones.

I agree that the Volt is the best of the mini PV's and that is why I stated "generally"!! But you still have the hassle of constantly changing batteries unless you are a very light smoker/vaper.
Plus, for "consistency" which is one of the main similarities which most of us want from our old habit, a mini PV cannot provide that. One needs a "regulated" battery with some form of boost circuit technology for that quality. And you will not get that out of a mini PV.

I've got the kGo mentioned earlier and also a couple of 1000mah twist. Along with the nova it's a fantastic way to start. Either one of the batteries will last me all day. And so far they have held up really nice. I bought a neck lanyard for the eGo twist and it helped replace the hand to pocket urge.
Yeah, the Blu certainly looks fantastic, especially with the cool little pcc it comes with, but people aren't very happy with their performance or service. It would seem thT the best thing one can say about them is that they have good marketing, and at least they are getting people interested in vaping.

I purchased a blu cig kit,but there carts are only good for about 12 to 15 puffs before they taste burnt.So I ordered volcano blank carts and some halo liquid. This seams to work alright. I am new to vaping but I havnt smoked a regular cig in a month and love it so far. I would like to purchase a really good setup for home and just use my blu's with volcano crts at work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The biggest thing I think most new vapers have to get past is the size and that your trading an addiction for an addictive hobby. The regular cig size devices and batteries just don't cut the mustard. I've had two old joytech 510 kits and they were like toys and not satisfying at all.
As far as a suggestion on hardware you might wanna try an ego twist battery with a charger, a vivi nova or vivi nova mini with a couple extra heads (I like low res 1.8 ohm), a bridge less dripping atomizer, a drip tip (I like the acrylic ming style) and a bottle of juice with a flavor you like. You should be able to get every thing you need from altsmoke, madvapes or got vapes which have very reasonable prices. You should be able to get every thing you need for a full set up for 60-70 bucks. Also check out pbasardo and Grimm green on YouTube. Very informative videos on a variety of topics about vaping. Good luck and vape on.

I sort of like Cig 2 0, they have a site. Also, Infiniti, disposables, rechargeables and the full starter kit is less than half that of blu.
Thanks so much for all of the help guys. For now I went ahead and ordered some Boge 510 empty cartomizers, a bottle with a needle tip for filling, and two juice flavors from My Vapor Store. I also ordered six more juices from Vapure. I'm pretty stoked to try new flavors.
I'm going to use the Boge cartos on my Blu battery for now and see how I like the results. If I'm not happy with that then I think I might go for an Ego battery and try using the cartos with that before trying to advance into anything more complicated. Right track???

Good idea.
eGo fires @ 3.3 volts while the Kgo fires @ 3.7- Kgo Starter Kit about $40-$42 has been in the market over a year/ proven and is the same size as the eGo. Also Hoosier sells the original brand name Kgo SLB= non knockoff.
Note in the vid below @ 5:36 mins GrimmGreen also states the Kgo vapes better than the eGo

Hi Everyone. How much use should I expect to get out of the Boge 510 cartos? I bought ten of them. I know with my Blu cartos they start to taste burnt after a day of use. I assume that once a carto tastes burnt it shouldn't be refilled? I bought ten Boges and I'm hoping I can get some decent use out of them before ordering more. Thanks again for your patience and help!
Also, how does the filler in Boges compare to Blu? Will it last longer and hold juice better? The flavor on the Blus is practically gone very quickly after first use. I'm hoping my new stuff will last longer.

Basically stop before you get the bad burn taste, then you can reuse them. If it burns, you are burning the filler inside, and you won't be able to get rid of the taste. When you start losing flavor, and getting less vapor, stop and refill the carto. I noticed if I got a minor burn taste I would stop, and refill and that they would still work. Its always better to refill early than late, especially since refilling is really easy to do via the condom method.
You can also wash your cartos if you want to do different flavors in used cartos. It takes time but its fairly easy. I basically used 2 methods in one. I would boil the cartos for like 10-15 mins, rinse them and then I would use a syringe, w/out the needle and flush new water through them. Then let them dry overnight. I think a lot of people just boil them. The main thing is to make sure they dry all the way.

Thank you! So you won't ruin cartos by putting them in water? I wonder if I should try to clean some of my empty Blu ones that don't already taste burnt. Do you think they are just cheaply made and that's why the burn so quickly?

Hey! Thanks for those links. I just bought my first cartomizers Saturday night and I am LOVING them! I've tried the tanks/atty and the clearomizers and decided to try the cartomizers. I must say, I think they might be my new go-to juice delivery. Nice to know how to clean them!

Got my cartos and juices in last night. Filled up four of them and I can already tell I'm going to love this compared to the Blu. The intensity of the flavors and vapor blows Blu out of the water, even with still using their battery.
