Hi!

OK got my ego-c 8 days ago. I switched between analogues (if my lingo is correct) for the first 5 days but I've now been 72 hours without a real smoke. Smoked since I was 14, I'm now 30 so for me this is huge!!! 72 hours!!:)

Just wanted to ask a few questions

1. WHY AM I SO BLOODY ITCHY!!!!!. Honestly I just spent 30mins In my kitchen scrapping a potato masher up and down my back! My head is itchy, my feet are itchy and my hands are itchy. I'm assuming its because I'm vaping cause I've never had it before.

2. I really like the fruit flavoured liquids but they seem really harsh. The caramel and vanilla are really smooth but a bit too sweet. Am I doing something wrong?

3. Like the above question. After refilling the thingy that the liquid goes in. The first 10-20 puffs seem really harsh no matter what flavour I'm using. I read that you should put a few drops on the atomizer before you start puffing. Which part is the atomizer? Is it the small metal thing with the wick sticking out? or is it the other metal part that screws into the battery. Sorry if these questions are really dense!!!!

Lots of issues can manifest themselves as your body goes thru cigarette withdrawal. I wouldn't be really concerned unless the symptoms remain for a time. As far as taste of juices, you're just getting started so your tastebuds are healing themselves so what you experience will keep changing for at least another week. I do not have any experience with the eGo-C so I can't help you there. Be patient and stick with it as the end result is worth it...

You could be having an allergic reaction to the flavoring or the pg. I had an issue with PG, itchiness, when I first started out. Had to go to all vg and then slowly start adding pg back in on other orders. It can also be caused from dehydration. Vaping will zap the water out of you so make sure you drink tons of water.

No ...some flavors will seen harsh to you at first. It just takes a little getting used too. When you inhale, make sure you open your mouth so that air can mix with the vapor.

Yes, the atomizer has the wick sticking out...it's the heating element.

For the harshness issue... One thing you could try is mixing two of the flavors together. Like mix a fruit that feels to harsh to you with the caramel that feels too sweet. Just mix a little, because it's possible that you will hate it, lol. Also, continue trying samples of juices from different vendors. They can all be quite different and it takes a while to find your favorites.

Re: vaping continuously... It seems to be common that many people start out vaping more than they smoke and gradually it evens out. Another possibility is that you are not using a high enough strength nicotine. What mg/ml are you using and how much/what brand did you smoke?

I did have have a bit of mixing session yesterday and found lemon and caramel worked, but I kept on getting a strong hit of lemon then a strong hit of caramel then the two together which tasted great....maybe I need to get paint mixer machine!!

I used to smoke about 20 marlboro lights a day, but I would always put my thumb and finger over the holes on the filter..lol, so don't really think they were lights!! I'm using 24mg at the moment, it is working really well, this is the longest I've gone without a smoke for 16 years. Think ill have to have a shop about for flavours to see what I can find. Any recommendations? fruity but smooth.

How did you mix the two flavors?

I don't really have any recommendations since I make my own juices and I can tweak them to adjust to my liking. Check out the e juice subforum, I'm sure you will get some good ideas there.

GL and congrats on your success so far!
