Hello all,

I just started vaping about a week ago, started with the SI Volt kit and I'm extremely impressed so far. I probably spent 20-30 hours researching before I made the purchase and I've got to say it was really difficult to finally find what turned out to be a great choice. There are so many websites, vendors, brands, reviews etc... that I almost gave up more than once (I'm very picky with any purchase I make and will spend hours researching whatever it is). It's really overwhelming trying to get into ecigs if you are like me and make your purchases very carefully.

Anyways, like I said, I love the Volt. I don't have much to compare it to but it performs exactly how I expected and I really haven't read any negative Volt reviews, seems like they are a win as far as KR808 hardware goes. I showed 6 of my co-workers my Volt the first day I got it and they all loved it so much that they got me to place another order and order each of them a standard kit! This is exciting because now I'll have people at work to trade cartos, juice, hardware etc... with.

Now on to my question:

I made the uber-noob mistake of ordering a 5-pack of Cowboy cartos instead of buying a sampler pack. I've since ordered a few prefilled carto sampler packs from SI which should be here next week and I've also placed juice orders with Alien Visions, Backwoods Brew and Johnson Creek (a few sample bottles from each). The prefilled SI cartos will obviously be easy to test (swap cartos) but for the bottles, it's not going to be easy with my current setup. I'll either have to order some blank cartos or try refilling a spent carto. What I'd really like to do is to get into dripping without having to switch over to a totally 510 setup.

Can anyone recommend a good quality 808 to 510 adapter (I know they exist but I am having a hard time finding one from a reputable vendor), 510 atomizer and compatible drip tip so I can use my SI Volt KR808 battery for dripping? I'd really love to quickly test all the juices I ordered without having to fill up (and possibly waste) a bunch of blank cartos!

I have the new sealed automatic batteries from Volt but I understand there are still risks anytime you drip with an automatic battery, sealed or not sealed, but I'm willing to accept those risks.

Thanks!

I get all my atty's and carts from liberty flights now. I used to get my atomizers from totally wicked and cignot, but I use liberty flights now because thats my favorite carto vendor - plus they got lots of cool stuff I usually throw in the cart. Its like 9 dollars for an atty at LF, you may be able to find a cheaper deal somewhere.

My last carto order I chose the free shipping option and still got the stuff 3 days later. YMMV for shipping.

I have nothing but good things to say about all the above suggestions, but I will say I haven't purchased anything from TW in a long time.

Goodprophets has 99 cent adapter

A KR808D-1 like Volt can natively use a DSE-901 atomizers with no adapter

Slim ecigs use standard resistance atomizers and cartomizers (2.5 to 3 ohm SINGLE coil)

Dripping is never recommended on auto batteries. And the so-called "sealed" autos are not sealed - the center hole is just moved to be 2 holes on the sides of the center post.
