A quick question about stealth vaping while I'm stealth typing this out at work :p

What are some of your experiences with vaping anything larger than a cig-a-like in public? I'm anticipating having to buy disposables on occassion while out in public places (clubs, some restaurants and bars) as pulling out an eGo may draw too much attention. I wondered if maybe I should also order a cig-a-like kit just for these places or if anyone else does this. vaping seems to be slowly catching on here but I don't think many people (especially the circles I'm in and places I frequesnt) are familiar with it, I can see bouncers and security having issues.

Thoughts? Tips?

I used to think like that too and have found that i can mostly just vape with my ego twist just about anywhere. I don't flaunt it in peoples faces and I explain whjat I am doing if ask. I won't vape at the table in a high end restaurant because it just looks bad but, in my regular haunts I don't have any problem. I will go into the "smoking area" if need be but generally I have found it's not needed. I don't think I would buy a "look-a-like" but I might get a smaller battery to be less conspicuous.

I use a Mini eGo battery and a Fluxomizer so it is also not a distraction. A cig-alike and carto may be discreet but may also resemble a cigarette and therefore draw unwanted attention.

I DIY my own nicquid so it is easy to make some 100% PG that doesn't produce much vapor but gives me 24mg so that I don't crave it continuously. Any vapor that is exhaled quickly dissipates, and if I hold it in for a few seconds there is nothing visible exhaled. I think that not producing visible vapor leaves people with very little to complain about. I sympathize with people who may be annoyed by clouds of vapor near them. I don't try to hide my vaping, just the vapor.

I haven't experienced issues with the device. I would think the issues folks would have would be with the perceived "smoke" from the vapor. In that respect, I don't see how a cig-a-like and an eGo would differ. Just my opinion. When I used to vape at bars, I would usually go to the bartender, show him what I wanted to do, demonstrate the device, and ask permission. If he didn't want me to, I'd do what I did before (go outside)....

Here's about the best stealth vaping gear evah (in my opinion). I use this everywhere, and never had any problems. Even more discrete than a cigalike or disposable!

This baby has seen the inside of many a hospital and doctor's office...not to mention stores, restaurants, and ...well...just about everywehre! And it hits really good too!! 18350 battery mod...3.7 volt Gripper.

That drip tip is the knucklehead and I love it...but recently I got a "shorty" drip tip that even MORE discrete! It's great too!

I guess I'm thinking in terms of getting in past security pat downs and whatnot... having to explain what it is to someone who might not be able to think past cigarettes and illegal smokes...

I remember back in the day when I used to smoke beedis to the clubs and having the bouncers looking mystified trying to wrap his head around what the heck I was doing... I can just forsee those days coming back with this...

They are here Gripper You'll also want the extension thingy...that way you can use tanks or clearos or whatever. Gripper 510 Extension Without the extender you'll use XL 510 cartomizers. Really nice little mods, and really nicely built. I love mine. I have other box mods, but this one is a great favorite...better built than the plastic ones, and more comfortable. The horn button up top is perfect!

If asked you can say it's your "inhaler". hehehhe!

I'd put in a plug for the SD Keyring. Basically a fantastically small auto-510 mod.

Use it with cartos, or can even get a 510-to-eGo adapter and use ego tanks (which you may have already).

I've got one for the better half, she likes the auto-ness and the ability to drive LR cartos. Only 300mAh, so won't last forever, but really handy for stealth.

Others have mentioned the "stealth inhale", where you inhale and hold it for a few seconds, this makes the exhale pretty much invisible.

The 100% PG option will also indeed create vapor that clears more quickly.
