I'm not nice I guess, I VAPE EVERYWHERE, in the grocery store, in my dentists office, in my doctors office, In the library, EVERYWHERE. My wife gets mad. Hehe! Ice seen her doing it in the grocery store recently though. Now if I'm standing in a line, say at the library, I'll try to dissipate the VAPE........but otherwise I'm blowing big ol clouds of vapor.
I have gotten one of those fake coughs from vaping, I was thrilled. It was in the parking lot of the library at the beginning of the week, the woman was walking behind us in the library parking lot, we were all going I to the library, I talked loudly about it to my wife, and to be on the safe side I started vaping my head off, especially while I held the doors open for her inside of the library.
As I said my wife gets mad at me for being a "donkey".
I'm with you! I've only had it for one day, but I was vaping at work. Not like I was walking past the CIO's office blowing smoke, but at my office with a couple puffs.

Commend Ren on not vaping or smoking in front of kids, neither do I.

Thanks for the kind words, and kudos to you as well! :)

I am under no illusions that my vaping is 100% safe (what is anymore eh?), it is nicotine after all. My bottles/kit also have their own dedicated metal toolbox in my workshop WITH A PADLOCK! Nobody is getting at that stuff while I'm not around.

I do genuinely enjoy vaping, like the taste, the experience, the ability to smoke yet not smoke! I think of it alot like eating red meat: Many people say it's not the best for you but in moderation it is not the thing that is going to do me in. I'm going to have my ribeye or NY Strip every now and then, slathered in garlic butter. Just won't eat that every single day!

I was alone in the waiting area at the hair salon yesterday. Forgot where I was and started vaping while I was reading a magazine. Looked up and saw huge clouds of vapor. I quickly swished them away with my magazine. No one noticed or said anything to me.

I stealth vape in stores. I do not stand in the checkout line and vape, but I will do it if I'm tucked away in an aisle and there aren't any people around me.

Now Walmart is a different story. Here they allow just about any animal into the store. The door greeters just smile at them and say, "welcome to Walmart." Cats, puppies, dogs, birds, lizards, monkeys, snakes - I've seen them all in our local Walmart. As long as they continue this policy, I will vape whenever and wherever I want to in our local Walmart. I figure vaping is cleaner than and safer than those critters. Sorry for the Walmart rant. It drives me a little nuts!!

You know, I bet we could figure out how to mod an atty to use a straight water/flavor/nicotine mix -- no PG or VG. That way we could vape normally without having to hold it in our lungs forever. When water is vaporized, you hardly see anything blowing out after a drag.

I believe the main reason PG or VG is used is because they provide a persistent, rich, smoky mist that looks like regular cigarette smoke. That's what most people want. But for stealth mode, it's a different story altogether.

I'm not so sure that would work. As I understand it, the pg is in there not so much to provide the clouds of vapor (vg is much better at that), but to be a carrier for the nicotine and flavor. The same reason they use it in some medical inhalers. I don't think water would do that job so well. Also, nic bases are nicotine mixed with pg, vg, or some combo. It might be tough finding a base that didn't have either of them.

We use VG/PG because it vaporizes at a lower temperature. Water vaporizes at, what, 212F? Boiling. So you don't want to inhale that anyway, you'd singe your lungs.

I've wished cigarettes were illegal for a long time... ever since the first time I tried to quit. Now I don't really care much except if e-cigs become illegal then they better take tobacco cigs down too or I'm gonna be PO'd!!!!!1

Coming up to a year soon? nice...

I tried last night at Dave & Buster's while playing pool and it helped to get my nic fit quelled but wasn't enjoyable. Finally, I asked the waitress what her thoughts were on this and she said she had no problem with it and told the bartender. He gave me a thumbs up and she told me he was a vaper too. I think being polite, being ready to explain what it actually is (I printed up some of the ECF Business cards at home by pulling the jpeg onto my computer), and not being in people's faces with it is the way to go.
