Hi there, I'm new to this forum but I've been vaping for a little under a year.

I started out with an eGo-T battery with Kangertech Evod MT3 with 2.4Ohm coils and it was working beautifully. Then about a week ago I ordered a second battery so I could continue vaping whilst the other one was charging and so that I didn't get caught out whilst away from home.

Only issue is that I can't get anything off of the new eGo-C Twist battery (yes it was charged). I tried it out today on a friends CE4 clearomiser and it worked fine.

I have seen countless video reviews where the combination is working fine, so what is my problem?

Grateful for any input on this.

Avie

Sounds like you eliminated the battery as being the problem. There are a few different possibilities as to the cause. A few things you can try are:

Check the coil resistance with a multimeter if you have one. You may have a bad coil. You could also replace the coil to try to rule this one out.

When you screw the CE4 to your battery make sure you do not screw it on too tightly. It just needs to make contact to work properly.

What you need to do is look straight down at the battery and you will see the contact point. It's looks very similar to the tip of a AA battery. There is a little space between that and the well it sits in (501 connection). You want to take something like a toothpick and leverage off the well and pry it up ever so slightly. Pry from different points around the circumference. You should have a good connection after doing so.

Here's a video...

Hey I'm also having charging issues with my eGo-C Twist charging. I am having issues with the battery as well, I have to basically re-adjust the center pin every time I unscrew the tank and try to put it back on. And I know that I am not supposed to over-tighten the tank onto the battery, however I may have done that the first time that I took off and put back on the tank. I've had to readjust the center pin on battery nearly ever time I put tank back on...
Enough about that, the main issue I am facing has to do with the charging unit.
**When I plug in the charging unit into my computer, or into a wall adapter to place into several different outlets, the light on charger does not turn green or red. It does not light up at all. I am fairly certain that this is a charger issue, however any help would be appreciated if this may not be the case.
*I have tried to readjust (and lift) the center pin inside the charger (as I do with the battery) however this does not do anything.
Thanks for reading this essay if you were able to stick with it, and sorry it was so long. I'm just trying to cover all bases.
Thanks for any help provided!!

Sounds like a bum charger to me. Contact the place you got it at, and tell them the issue you're having. I'd expect them to replace it. :) :vapor:

And welcome to ECF!

This is a bad charger. There's a connection broken somewhere. Don't trust a charger that is not 100% functional!

It's probably the pin on the battery. I had something weird happen today where this boge xl lr carto in a tank would fire on 2 devices and not on the other. I have different carto tanks with the same carto's in them that would fire on the problem device (MVP 2). Everything I have works fine on all three except this one tank that works fine on a cana mod dna30 and a vamo v3 but not the mvp 2.

Still scratching my head on this one. Not so much really cause I just stuck it back on the dna30 and vaped away. The carto will die over the next few days and essentially no more problem hee hee.

Talk to the store you got it from for that too. I have had one battery since 2009 do that. It's very frustrating and I don't think that it's normal. It may be an issue with the topper that you are using, some have too long of a connection that pushes your pin down. Do you have another one that you could try so you can see if that specific one has a problem?
