So any reports on the bottom feed performance? I got the atty, but not the bottom feed kit yet. Apparently everyone went shopping after I posted intaste.de. The darn thing has a 10 gallon bucket under the coils and air holes. Does not look right to me. But sometimes, I am not as smart as others look.

Any reports running on a REO in bf mode? Very well made, but I am not sure how it will meet my bf needs. I refuse to drip.

Hey, So ChrisEU turned me on to the Origen V2 awhile back with his comments on how good the flavor is. Well, I finally got around to ordering one. I got mine from MoVapes for $105 + $17 for the BF kit.

So what are some of the best practices that you guys have found. Should I put a fluf of cotton in the juice well? I normally like to run single coils, Is this better for duals? How has squonking been with the BF kit, is it best to squonk with vertical or horizontal coils?

Im excited to get mine, just have to wait on shipping. Thanks

I almost bought one at the B&M today...I like the looks and the BF function is a great addition. I only have one problem....no REO to put it on :p

EDIT: Well I ended up buying one online along with the BF pin since it is SS vs. the Brass stock positive pin. paid less than the B&M was charging and got the drip tip with it. Still not sure what REO I want to put it on, Rob will be getting a PM by Saturday......

So I have already placed my order but now that I saw some more pics of the BF pin it seems the juice feed hole is fairly high inside of the juice well making me believe that it does not drain all of the excess back into the bottle. Have you guys liked this setup or would drilling a lower juice feed hole make this more pocket friendly? I dont think I would make the lower feed hole flush with the bottom of the well, just more like 2-3mm above the bottom to leave some e-liquid but not the 1ml it can hold.

All of my REOs end up in my pocket throughout the day while I run around town and I foresee this leaving some rather suspect pocket stain.

The feeding system is different - and no, it won't drain the liquid back into the bottle. Draining isnt needed because the juice well is so deep that the liquid in there doesn't get cooked from the coils - and it won't drown them either.

The feed hole is close to the coils and feeds them directly. Excess liquid will go into the wells or into the cotton in the wells if you have some there - and will then feed up to the coils over time.

A lower feed hole would not work with this type of setup.

I guess I can wait for the Origen to arrive and figure it out but I take it you are saying the BF pin's juice hole will feed e-liquid to the coils and any excess will run down into the juice well.

Which coil orientation has been working best so far? Horizontal or vertical coils?

So I have had the origen v2 for about 2 weeks now and I must say it is fantastic. Took me a couple builds to get the right vape without hot spots.

Ended up with dual horizontal micros 9/10 wraps of 26g @ .44, really short wick tail on the airhole side, and a thin wispy like wick that sticks about halfway into the well.

Flavor is awesome, really brings the creaminess out of bombies nana cream. Wicking is fantastic, much better then the performance i got out of vertical coils.

I used it very briefly in bf mode and really like having a bit of juice in the well. I do like watching the juice ooze out of the post and into the well.

I was really hesitant about ordering a non 3 post, normal type rda, but I am really glad I got it. Not the best for super low ohms or clouds, but flavor is outstanding.

Anybody install the bottom feeder kit? I'm having issues.

How do you get the old post out? Mine is tight in there, and I keep looking at my channel locks. That is guaranteed to turn out badly.

And then the bottom feed post has this weird thing going on with the juice hole. It is covered by the bottom nut/ring thing. Is this actually supposed to work?

AUTHENTIC Origen V2 vertical coil RDA

VaporKings has the Origen V2 on their site. And I know they have the BF kit, but I didn't see that....didn't look that hard. Maybe you have to ask for it in comments or something. I was there on Monday and the oner showed me. Nice looking...very solid. But I don't have a LP REO, so it won't work yet for me....but he said he'd put one back for me. Can't decide if I want it....

Yeah it's supposed to work that way. The bf kit's lower nut has grooves which allows juice to seep out into the wells when squonking.

I was able to get my center pin out using a screwdriver. It took a lot of turns and effort though, when re-installing the BF pin I opted to use the drill and a flat head driver. No need to use brute force on a $120 RDA, mine got a couple of small scratches on the base from tool slips but thankfully you cant see them when it is on a mod.

I wondered the same thing when mine arrived, but it will work there are four small channels on the BF pin lower knureled/grooved nut that allow the e-liquid to pass from the pin into the atomizer chamber. I had concerns about how far I had to tighten this nut down to not impede the BF functionality but it feeds really well.

Hope it works well for you ethermion and let us know what setup you end up building. I love my Origen V2 and am actually considering purchasing a second one.

I got one of these and wind up was it wouldn't work on any of my reo's as-is, it fits the metal grand but the door don't slide up past it and my door can't go down so I couldn't use it so I decided to make it fit one of my woodvils. really liking this atty but I'm not so in love with the deep well and the feed being completely above the well. I think it needs to be modded to work great for BF. I'm thinking an insert to make the well floor more like a V rather than the bucket U and moving the feed hole down to the bottom of the V, then it'll feed and drain like a chalice or rm2. and the bf pin is still brass, not ss... plan on making a ss one with a lower feed hole I guess

Yeah BF was just an afterthought on this one, it works sure, but I don't think its as good as it could be for $138 dollars.

Alright guys, I need some advise. I currently have a vertical.65 single coil of Mundy's with RxW and some cotton fluff in the juice wells and I can't seem to get my vape dialed in. In large part I think this has to do with the MM coil which loves to be coated in juice (why it works so well in the RM2/cyclone where I can submerge it then drain).

What subohm (dual or single) coil set up has been working for you guys?

I'm thinking of switching back to cotton, and I'm used to the RM2 where you can get away with very short wick tails, how are you wicking this with the deep juice well? Long tails that take up space in the juice wells? Got a pic?

Thanks in advanced
