I'm guessing the same holds true for the battery end cap threads and the brass contacts.

It's my understanding the whole tube is a conductor.

There is definitely some good advice in this thread, but nothing is working in my case. I've cleaned every thread/connector possible using alcohol and a toothbrush and I mean they are VERY clean, still getting the same issue as described in my previous posts. It's now getting even worse it seems, in that I can't get any power even by delicately twisting the adapter to loosen or tighten it like I was somewhat able to do before. Still reading 4.0 volts at the adapter brass and case though.

Steve, sorry to be such a hassle buddy. What can I do from here?

Have you checked the resistance of your atomizer?

Yeah, all 3.4-4.2 Ohms, I've tried over 5 brand new 510 attys which all tested fine & another 5 new 901's. It's without question not my atomizers. I can use all of the 901's on my 901 Hybrid PT, so I know they work.

Sounds like you have obviously tried more than 1 adapter too. This sounds like a job for PS.
