Not nice tasting hits

Hi guys, just went down to my local B&M to get some new wire and cotton... Well, I ended up buying a kit he was selling because I got 2 spools of wire and some cotton for cheaper...

Anywas, built a 0.25 ohm quad nano coil build, wicked and dripped it and took a few hits... Noticed the flavour was abit strange, no relation to the supposed flavour at all!

Wasn't a dry hit taste, just a really strange taste which I've never got before and I wondering why? Is it the cotton?

Did you Dry Burn the coils before you Wicked them?

What type of Cotton and Wire were you using Before. What did they say was the type of Cotton and Wire you have Now?

Could be the cotton. Many can taste the bleaching/cleaning agents used in the processing of the cotton. All cotton is chemically cleaned during processing, from plant to store.
If you have any left, boil it, dry it and try again.

Is this a New to you juice?
Is this a new to you build?
Is the wick the only NEW to you part of the vape?

Already boiled and dried it buddy! And everything is same old haha

Yeah I did mate, always dry burn! And it's a "vaporous coiling kit" ... Just worked out cheaper than buying the wire separate alone

I would lean towards the Wire being a Different Alloy than what you are used to Using.

Maybe a Kanthal vs NiChrome thing?

Try different cotton....

Did the coil ohm out to what you expected when you built it? Going to be quite a difference between expected and resulting OHM, if you got Nichrome instead of Kanthal

Hmm possibly, well I just dripped possible the strongest tasting liquid I make... Gave it a strawberries and cream overload and it's sort of gone!
