im just gonna write about kr8's question about nicotine being a stimulant...

i thought more people would know this as we are all addicted to the stuff but...Depending on the Dosage, Nicotine is can be either a Depressant and Stimulant. With a low dosage it is a stimulant, where as with higher dosages it becomes a depressant.

kinda like alcohol

yeah tests with caffine have shown the same thing...people were wondering why sleepy drivers slamming coffee weren't all wired...in fact the opposite was happening..

it sounds weird but the whole inversion table thing really did help me too..akin to the old days of gravity boots...you hang upside down for a bit and it decompresses your spine and helps stretch you out..and it's just fun...well besides looking like a wackjob hanging upside down..

I've thought about this actually, but wasn't sure of the effectivness, degenerative disc at L4.

Yes Cass. I don't condone my choice, nor do I recomend my choice, but alcohol is my antidepressant of choice. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! It's a finer line than I can walk at times, but certainly more effective than what the more knowlegable doctors seem to prescribe to me, and offers many less side effects!

I have always had a sleep problem. The only way I can get to sleep is to take 10 mg of Ambiem and then I only sleep about 4 hours. I have been taking Ambiem for 10 years. I do believe excessive nicotine and caffiene affects your sleep. If there is nothing good on TV I will go to my computer and listen to my husband snoring. There are people that function completely normal on less sleep. I do have some problems caused by lack of sleep (usually headache, irritability and tired during the day) but I learn to deal with these.

My doctor has suggested a sleep study but I don't want to go through being wired up all night while someone watches me. I know I don't have sleep apnea.

YES! The sleep studies ROCK!! That was TWO of the WORST nights of my life! Yes, TWO, they had to drug me to get the second night to halfway work! I HIGHLY recomend this for someone you DISLIKE A LOT! It really is that misserable!
It was concluded I don't have apnea but I was waking myself 25? times an hour from snoring. The cure for that was a plastic mouth piece resembling a football mouth guard that costs $600, that I would spit out at least eight times a night!
I have so much love for doctors, I can't hardly contain myself:D

All my life I fell asleep the minute my head hit the pillow but since vaping found myself awake until 5:30am! And I mean WIDE awake! I usually vape between 24mg - 18mg during the day but when I stepped down to 8mg (or lower) at night I could fall asleep again. Too much nic at night will keep you awake for sure. At least it does me.
