section 18 of that bill should it pass will ban sale of e-cig, etc. in the state of TN....

I dont think can enforce it "e-cig" bans.

An e-cig is just a battery, atomizer and some liquid.

What if I vape with no nic in my juice, it then becomes a plain old vaporizer.

Vicks makes a vaporizer so are they going to ban all sales of vaporizers? I dont think so.....

They can pass it but there is NO WAY they can enforce it.

i agree...and that's why i sent an email to every congressman/woman in TN to oppose the ban. the 10k per charge on selling is a real killer for small businesses. since PS is local to me i'm going to start buying some of my "gear" from them. i live like 50 miles away...maybe i'll stop in and say hi sometime

well i encourage everyone to email TN Congress to kill this monstrosity. they're just ticked off that they are losing revenue on tobacco taxes. hopefully someone can get through to them. i did receive several responses and they all said they were opposed to the ban. one even gave me the contact info for the bill's sponsor lol

you got responses like that incantius? I have yet to get a response that says they oppose it can you copy and paste something here?

I sent e-mails to all of the Tennessee congressmen and I don't even live in Tennessee.. But because I purchase 99% of my equipment and supplies from PureSmoker, I will do what ever I can to help out here from Pennsylvania..

It is my understanding the subject of contention is an unintended consequence of Item #18 in this legislation. I have been advised the sponsor is aware of this and is considering amending the legislation.

I will email write whoever I must. I am a new PS customer, but I don't want to shop anywhere else. I just hope that one of the two new juices I ordered is my "all day vape" so I don't have to buy juice elsewhere. Pure Smokers customer service is awesome btw Casey and Steve ROCK!!!

I sent the email to the legislators and added this:
"I purchase my vaping supplies from the state of Tennessee and this ban not only hurts me but it may set a dangerous precedent that other legislators who are uneducated about these products may do more harm than good. If e cigarettes are banned we will have to go back to regular cigarettes and no one wants that. Regulation should be limited to quality control, posting of ingredients in e liquid, and restricting sales to minors. None of us want kids to smoke or vape and those I have spoken with wish like me that they never started in the first place. Ban sales to minors, but not adults. These work for me. I was 15 when I started smoking and at 24 I was at over a pack a day. I had asthma but even wheezing and shortness of breath couldn't get me to stop. Since I started vaping I haven't had a single asthma attack. My results are similar to many others I have spoken with. I won't make exaggerated claims, but this IS working for me and I AM breathing better. I never want to be forced to go back to smoking traditional cigarettes which were killing me and my lungs."
