My Husband bought a eGo T, 2 baterry, 2 clearomizer- the type with the rope- and charger kit. We split the kit. We were never told what mAh the batteries were but I'm sure it's 650. The clearomizers hold 1.6ml.
Right off the bat, his set-up produced nearly twice the vaper as mine even after a full charge on my battery.
I thought it might be the clearomizer so I bought a new one and there was no improvement.
I tried switching both the old and new clearomizer with another 650mAh battery with the same results. Can't figure out what the problem may be. Bad clearomizers? Bad connection from clearomizers to battery?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome! Are you both using the same kind of liquid? I'm a little slow, so please be patient. 1) He tried a clearo on his battery and had a good result; 2) You tried a clearo on your battery and had a bad result; 3) You got another clearo and tried it on your battery and had a bad result; 4) You got a 3rd battery and tried both clearos and had a bad result. It that the correct sequence?

Might be too simple, but have you each tried each others' gear? Do you both vape the same (i.e. draw, inhalation, exhale)?

That's what I was wondering - did your husband try the "bad" clearos on his battery and have the same problem? vg is also quite viscous and often doesn't wick very well with a clearo.

Did you try the one that he is using, or you only comparing the vapor between yourselves?
If you don't take a long, slow mouthful of vapor on your puffs, you wont get that much vapor.
It should take about 9 to 10 seconds per puff, or you won't get that much vapor.

Turnforward, yes I do take slow steady puffs. I did try using my clearomizer on my Husband's battery and absolutely no vape would come out at all. We just tried his clearomizer on my battery and I got great vape from it so I must have purchased 2 faulty clearomizers. Hope the next one I get works right. Maybe my vendor will agree to let me try it first.
Thanks everyone! :)

I tell you, every new clearomizer that comes out, I go buy a few of each to try them out. The last two I tried:

1. Karanger T3- the first one was good for three days only. I tried the other two heads and they were terrible.

2. iClear- Duel-coil clearomizer, bought two. I only have tried the first one. It vaporizes good / no burning and tastes allright. But it
gives me wheezy labored breathing.

So for me, only SmokTech Duel-coil and Boge tank cartomizers. And my rebuildables (steam Machine the best).

I noticed my clearomizer does't vape well with higher VG levels. I use a 65pg/35vg mix and mine work well. the wick set up on clearo's are not vg friendly. the wicks are kinda pinched by the plastic cap on the mouthpiece end. And if they are new, its good to fill them and let them wick for a good 5 minutes prior to using them first time. then take a few draws before firing it. hope this helps a lil.

clearos are generally non consistent. i've tried them all. some are good for a short period some for a little longer some are just bad. my smoktech tank is the one i take with me and the AGA's are the ones i vape home. i use a spiner with the tank and a vamo for home vaping. this is the best setup imo, till something exceptionally better is available.

Thanks everyone. Can anyone suggest a compatible tank for me? I'm new at vaping. I'm using a eGo T 650mAh.

Here are some ST Dual-coil tank kits with 3 cartomizers ranging from $17 to $24. Also get the carto-puncher listed further down the page. And they also have both Boge and STDC's carto's

Cartomizers E Cigarette

Here are some J Tanks for the standard size Boge carto's. They are hard to find. ivape.net has them, but they are out right now.

ElectronicStix.Com · J-Tanks And J-Tank Parts

Here are some Boge carto's on sale right now for $6 per box of 5.

510 | Cartomizers | iVAPE

The Boge carto's are great. They have a little more vapor and slightly less flavor than the Dual-coils. they last about 10 to 15 ML's of juice.
The ST Dual-coils taste a little better and last a little longer. While the Boge's need a tank, because the filler is tight and hard to fill, the STDC's are easy to fill and don't really need a tank. They last about 15 to 25 ML's.

I don't buy the pre-punched carto's, because they cost a couple dollars more, and they really need two holes not one. The Dual-coils need 2 holes and the Boge's need 2 to 4 holes depending on how much VG.

I have been vaping for over 2.5 years, and have been using carto's for, at least, the last 1.5 years. I have had no problems with Carto's with the exclusion of having a bad carto here or there. There was about a months time when there was a bad batch out there, where there were about 2 bad carto's per pack of 5. But they have corrected that and are back on track.

I buy my SmokTech Dual-coil carto's from the following link. They have four different sizes from: small , XL's, XXL's to 5mil's (same thickness as the EGO batteries). I always get the XXL's. They last a long time, and take 3ML's of juice. The tanks don't fit them, but you don't need a tank with these, but I do recommend finding some 801 size drip tips (myvaporstore.com) and not using the plastic tips that come with them. (the dc tanks are for the XL's only).

Don't buy the X size, I recommend either the XL's(4 tanks) or the XXL's.
