Hi MP2012! I am so glad you aren't giving up! WTG! I haven't had a cigg since Dec 2011..it's been a great journey especially here at ECF. This has to be one of the best threads I've seen to help someone! VERY good advise. You all are so awesome with your help and caring.

Keep at it MP. Someone said this website is also a support group. It truly is. The struggle is different for each person but now that you found ECF you have people to share that struggle with you with lots of advise stemming from lots of experience. You are not alone.

I will admit that during my smoking days I used to freak out when my chest hurt or I could no longer run up the stairs without having what felt like an asthma attack. Even worse was hearing myself wheezing away at night when going to sleep. So far, I've noticed the wheezing has stopped, interestingly the bad acid reflux I have been suffering with everyday for the last 6 months has gone as well, how odd.

I was getting acid reflux when I laid down at night.. I dislike taking Prilosec and all that stuff.

Disclaimer! I'm not a doctor! But I do recommend taking a Magnesium supplement if the reflux comes back. It will be in the vitamin section of a drug store or grocery store. I take one (250mg) a day and my acid reflux does not bother me at all. I prefer not to take true meds if I can find a vitamin that does it for me.

Glad to see you're feeling better!!
