Good evening all. Dang, miss a day and got waaay behind. I haven't done this much reading since I read the phone book cover to cover. Never did figure out the plot but what an awesome cast. We've got a rainy week here along with a little cooler weather. The temp isn't going to reach my age tomorrow so I'll prolly get a few things done inside. Back up to the 70s for the weekend and 80s by Monday.
Pretty sure that I read that same thread on the Japanese cotton. Some of the things that people come up with here could scare people away from vaping for good. If we were to actually pay attention to them
My hand feels SO much better today. The injection was well worth it. Not sure why the thumb injection hurt so much worse than the one that I had years ago in my middle finger. I just wish that the relief would be longer lived. I will eventually have to go for another surgery and hand surgeries are no fun at all. Especially when it is the right hand. I have an excellent Hand surgeon and my mom did too. Until he stopped doing surgery here locally and I could not get her to travel the 35 miles to his other surgery center. Sooo... she insisted that I help her find a different hand surgeon that was local. After all, it was just a little snip, snip. Who couldn't do that ( her words, not mine) One of my docs partners was still doing surgery here so she went through the process and switched over to him. Had both hands operated on at once. He screwed them both up and now the good doc will not take her back
Can't bring myself to tell her that I told her so. maybe just maybe, one of these days she will quit being so hard headed.Her doc appt today went well. He knows how to deal with her. They go over her issues and then he asks her which of them is she willing to try and make better. He knows very well that she is non compliant. Ugh.

I get a kick out of the old french ladies that need to have there driveways clear of snow ice and then sweeping with a broom in Jan.
Your ice jams don't look at bad at all. They have ice flashing you can use for the roof that help stop ice jams. Plus insulation to stop the heat from get too the roof, that's what causes the ice jams. I think i see some venting it hard to tell from the picture. Rig line venting will help too. This hasbeen a long winter for us all i think. Not sure but am hearing these hard winters will become more common.

I've been out trying to move snow away from the foundation.
Katie pulls me off of important removal because she's still freaking out over the ice dams on the front. Yes I finally couldn't take her nagging any longer, got the ladder and hammer, and most likely did more damage to the roof than leaving the ice alone. Her house, her money *shrug*
I draw the line on this area, but I can not convince her to stop poking at it with a stick. She's going to end up a fried squirrel!

My mom was just talking about the Winters up on lake Erie today. We both shuddered and wondered how we ever survived. She is from NY and told me that she remembers being in Buffalo one year on July 4 and it snowed! Nothing major but still.

Then I go to the front desk and tell them I need an appointment for three months from now because the doctor said so.
