Salem my friend made his purchase all on his own and has over a hundred in those two pieces....

Wharf never did I imagine the KSM could be a K Fun killer...A KF V4 is 200 skins....that isn't helping matters...I've been debating some air flow modifications too the KF....Also debating chucking up the top cap of the KSM and adding a fill port...Even the KF V4 has no fill port but at least can actually be filled to the top...Why these companies shy away from fill ports is beyond me...I always prefer clean over messy...

We got the freezing rain ahhh coming down....Wrecks galore and the advice is stay put...Around these parts the road can be clear for the most part until you come too a shaded portion,,,,During the snow last week I had a couple three OH SHEET !! moments....Coming back from the grocery I took the back way....I actually live on the back way road...It shadows the newer main highway....Now the Dodge is riding on cleated 37s...I could definitely feel the traction leave the building a couple of times...Still I got the upwardly mobile driving an Acura while chatting away on the cell chic crammed up my rear bumper the whole way...Glad she didn't end up under my truck....Like the lady who couldn't wait for the family to cross the road at the PetSmart....Sometimes you can't push it....

Ok guys and gals, my first impressions. The wide bore DT has got to go!! It's like wrapping my lips around a motorcycle exhaust pipe!!!! Hey I'm just being honest and there is nothing feminine feeling about that! Haha ;)

I've got the 0.5 coil rocking in the KSM and bouncing between wide open airflow and the 2holed option. 15 watts (3v) and the Purple Haze minus EG Tea is singing its welches praises!! But seriously, the DT has got to go!! (Along with the bright red o rings, sorry Moon!) :) you can have mine if you want!

Gonna put it through its paces today for sure!!!
I agree with a fill port so we could fill the sucker cleanly and fly! I hate fiddling!

Am also thinking bakery flavors would be awesome in it with its warmer abilities. Going to grab some banana nut bread at work and see. :)

Good morning all you freshly washed, pretty young faces!

I might have to give in and try one of those KSM's. The only thing holding me back is that I don't want to like something better than my Nautilus and Delta's. I keep promising myself that I'm going to quit buying vaping gear. Of course, I always know its probably a goal that will never happen but still its nice to think that I have enough will power to quit buying.

But I don't.

To me, the most amazing thing is that my sweetie pie Miss Salem is sub-ohming. I never thought I'd see the day.

TT, I don't care for sub ohming at all. I use the 1.2 ohm coils on my Subtank. Warmth is nice but sub ohm just does not play well at all with most of my flavors. You must try the new cotton Nautilus coils with the bigger holes :D

Hey, I do have some vape mail coming tomorrow!!

The two 50w iSticks will be here plus the back up Vapor Shark rDNA30 I ordered.

I think I said the other day that I had a couple 40watt iSticks .... that was a typo. Their 30Watt.

The original 20 Watt iSticks I got back last November (I think it was...) are still going strong. I like those iSticks!

The 50s do have some upgrades from the 20s and 30s that I think you will like. You can actually lock the wattage in and that makes it more pocket friendly. It is twice as heavy and twice as big though.

ETA- Doh, my 30W has the option to lock in wattage as well.

I've got three of the 20w. Still working great. Only thing is my silver one's, which I use for a beater, threads are barely catching. I prolly wore them out. Answer was to put an adapter on it and leave it there. I mostly use one of the Aspire ED something on it with a bvc.

I still have my very first iStick. No issues at all with the threads. I have seen others say the same and not sure why I have had no issues with the 510 connector.

Salem my friend made his purchase all on his own and has over a hundred in those two pieces....

:shock::shock::shock:

Yep Tracy, we're now in the 5-8" range for snow

Salem, I think we as women might be a tad gentler on our 510 connections. I can feel a misalignment when putting on a tank right away, and back off to adjust. Men tend to handle things a bit more roughly ;)

I'm bouncing between wide open and the two hole setting too. I'll wait and run the 1.2 head before I decide which I like better.

Nice find on the Nauty cotton BVC coils, Salem! I was just thinking last night that the heads need bigger feed holes, and I bet the cotton improves flavor very well :)

We were icing this am....Seems to be all rain ATM.....The ground was way past saturated last week...I went out with Spike earlier and the water is ponding in the yard.....Better than frozen by 10 miles though...

My last encounter with subbing was OK....Like I said earlier....pinky fire mods killed that experiment...and the lack of tank feed...Now that both issues are corrected with the Stick/KSM I've a little more experience to draw conclusions from assumptions....The current juice is 8 mg/ml....70% PG...Flavors were mostly in the 10% total range a few months ago but have drifted back to 12ish too 20ish...With the KSM everything is magnified...more air and more vapor...Nicotine is expensive but flavor has cost me way more than nicotine has...Running at 8mg/mls you can stretch a big bottle of nic a dang long time....Flavor not so much stretching can be done without a package from RTS....Now given the situation I first plan to review my juice catalog...I know there are a few recipes for can't miss mixes that were a little light on flavor...I think 10% total flavor when using multiple flavor recipes will be good...I also have used single flavor and some two flavor mixes{the second flavor being a sweetner/buffer...CC or BC}...I think a single or double flavor may be a go in the 6~8% total range....Nic I think will play well at 4mg/ml...Less nic also adds too the flavor..6mg/ml for those who resist nic percentage drops...I never intend too vape 0mg but I wanna quit the vape some day as well....Though it's not exactly great for you nic does have some benefits...Pretty dang sure it aids in prevention of old timer's disease,,,Stretching the flavor and nic would be awesome....I'm dropping both and not looking back.....

Now I'm fully up too date on the 528 Custom Yapes Kay Fun....As I'd said I was already thinking modifications were in order for my KFs...I already knew the center pin was gonna be the limiting factor for increasing airflow...I saw what 528 did and that was along my line of thinking....The only thing I saw that I did not like was the now not full thread center pin....I'm not condeming it and it may work damn well fine....I'm a little suspicious the hot tower may be prone too coming loose...However they have done it and I have not....but I do have a sheet load of experience bolting sheet down on rides that like to test the limits of mechanical attachment....Hot towers have came loose on me a couple three hundred times with 0 mods....A simple delrin shim between the hot and negative towers would cure this issue...Hey if the KF boys were on point the bottom insulator would be machined with a little step into the groove...this would align and insulate between the towers and prevent the hot tower from loosening...Note the fellow I mentioned that had purchased the 30 Stick ports drag and circle track cylinder heads for a living...We do not build an engine for our stuff before working on air flow for a dang long time....Yesterday he had a small Chevy single plane drag race manifold on the grinding bench...even a Chevy will haul ... with that manifold...I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the 528...If it works two KF/Pro combos will be kept employed...I will be doing the modifications myself and there just may be a video of the El Daiblo KF bottom end....That factory air hole is comical now....

So yeah....It's raining...It's cold as hell...I had time on my hands

I have heard that Aspire is going to organic cotton in all of their coils.

BTW- The wide bore makes a huge difference in the vape for me. It makes for an easier draw ( smaller bore seem like straws to me) plus it seems to make the flavor better for me. I could never go back to smaller bore.

Hmmmm, I'm all about flavor salem, maybe I need to give it bit of a run then before making my final decision. ;) I texted one of our store mgrs about the DT issue and he suggested I try a tapered DT. From that I am thinking there is one that starts wide and tapers to the top?? Idk and that's exactly why I leave all the hardware stuff to the experts. (Give me juice and I'm in my element) ;)

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

Yeah, I understand what your saying. My Delta and pre-wound Kayfun coils are all 1.5 ohm and I like that.

I'll order some of the Nautilus coils with the larger air holes and give them a try.

My preference is a cooler vape and as far as tanks go (not the coils), I like the ones that will let me set it for lots of air. The new Nautilus coils with the bigger juice holes should make for a pretty nice cloud.

Oh, and I haven't had any issues with any of the iSticks either.

Tracy, these are my faves Cloud | Chaser | Drip | Tip | Fogging | Vaping | Gear | Cherry Vape

But, I think that these are exactly the same for less https://originvape.com/product/wotofo-delrin-drip-tip/

I also have some glass wide bores that I like but, I like the delrin best. You may not care for the color selections though ;)

The other nice thing about them is that they are friction fit. They fit everything and no o ring required.

I agree salem. I have both the delrin and glass wide tips and like them both. LOL, my glass tips have "New Mexico colors." Browns and turquoise. Oh, and my glass tips have three o-rings on the bottom ensuring a good and easy seal.

I think the drip tip is just a matter of preference, Tracy. I'm liking it just fine with a standard drip tip. I've fairly well settled into the 2 hole air setting. Combined with the standard bore tip, I'm getting a good combo of lung and mouth to lung hitting. Straight lung hitting diminishes my enjoyment of the flavor. It's just a matter of personal preference, but I don't have my watts as high as you and Dee...14 is the magic number for the juice I'm running in it for me :)

I agree. As long as most of us in this thread have been vaping, we should all know that what is great for one person may suck for the next ;) Everything vape related is about personal preference really.

I hope that everyone here knows anyway. I normally hesitate to recommend anything because of the personal taste and preference thing. As always, I was only stating what works well for me.

Tracy I wouldn't worry about which tip you use, just use what you like. Most of it is the intake airflow. I use TT's (Trippy Tips... NOT TexasT, though if he wants to be used...... There are Q Tip's hovering  ) and they have a normal bore. If you at the at the top of the KSM, the opening is not very big.

Bov Cherry Vape has one called the Moo King.....Just sayin'.......

I used Mings exclusively for a long time...I'll be hitting them up for a couple of those Chuggers for sure...and delrin for me!!

A standard hole tip may be fine on a KSM...The necked down Rampages I run on the KFs did not play well on the KSM...Kinda hot and spitting juice...One puff and OFF!!

Thanks for the link Wharf...I booked it in case I need one...It clearly states the air flow hole must be enlarged....Looking at the base the air flow is off centered too the top...The hole only needs to match the center pins minimum diameter...This will also require the juice channels to be enlarged...More air requires more juice and I've seen a KF throw a dry hit in my day...The 528 has the desired modifications and I'll wait for your report before I dive in...I did see where 528 had used multiple holes....not sure if they all have multiple holes or not...The limiting factor will be the diameter of the pin...No use going larger with the hole past the diameter of the pin...Velocity will increase but not CFM...Hoping you find the 528 to your liking..
