It's oppression Jerry!!! While i'm certainly not gonna defend cigarettes I'll be on no crusade too stomp them out either..My cousin is an ultra christian conservative and recently tried too get me to join a boycott of CVS Pharmacy...CVS is big around these parts and convenient for me...The reasoning,,,,CVS quit selling tobacco...That bothers me NADA....

Bov I lived in an apartment once that had storage space in the attic...Wife stored something or the other up there and it promptly disappeared....Access required a ladder and was through a plywood panel in the ceiling...I checked the situation and sure enough you could enter any apartment in the row through the panels......... then so I glued and screwed my access panel in permanently...It's highly likely something uncorrectly or poorly done in the HVAC was spreading the smoke into other apartments and as we all know now,,,,,Non-smokers can be quiet sensitive too cigarette smoke....Could have also been a whiner complaining and the complex had 17,000 reasons to get rid of you also...

My point earlier was the lower nic level allowed a lower flavor level and a cleaner vaping juice was the result...The nic lasts way....way longer as well!!!

I gotta run....TV payment....propane and a desk run all in a 1/2 day...Spike and I worked on our beauty sleep today...Coffee is still steaming!!

Morning folks :)

Yep it was a BS story, the manager got her huge lease bonus because we paid in advance, and she thought she could turn and burn the apartment on an eviction! I called her on it, talked to all of our neighbors, and no one was complaining. BUT....I'm still grateful that it introduced me to vaping! And believe it or not, when our lease was up and we moved in with Katie, we got our full deposit and pet deposit back.

Dee, I remember when I started DIY just a couple of months after I started vaping, I used to mix my juices at 20% flavor! I'm doing 7% now.

CVS headquarters are in Rhode Island, just a few miles northwest of me. I haven't heard of any boycotts or protests happening here.

What worries me, Dee, is that our rights and freedoms are slowly being taken away from us. This is the U.S.A., land of the free, or at least it's supposed to be. I hope that the government, on all levels, realizes that Americans have the right to lead their own lives and make their own decisions, as long as they don't hurt others. That's what makes us free and not a dictatorship.

Bov, I don't know about CT, but here in RI, evictions aren't that easy to do. My dad had a tennant in a rental that he used to own, she wasn't paying her rent and she refused to leave. He had to take her to court, to get her evicted. Back in the very old days, a 12 gauge shotgun would have rapidly changed her mind. LOL

If you follow all of your rights as a renter, the eviction process takes about 6 months here I think. What owners/managers hope is that their tenants don't know their rights. It's bad for owners with bad renters, but it protects renters from situations like I had. As soon as I mentioned a lawyer, our building manager got real nice :)

I don't have a problem with pharmacies not selling tobacco products. I do have a problem with companies and corps. who refuse to hire you because you choose to smoke on your own time.

Oh sure. Nod off for 5 minutes—or a year or two—and the world moves on. Life budding in spring knows its summer moment in the sun, then falls dessicated and lifeless in October—just as did tea bag mods, de-wicked 510 atomizers and the Notcigs forum.

Ok, my bad. Nothing ever stays the same, but I notice from perusing this thread that the core Buzzards have adjusted nicely; with the notable exception of Jerry contentedly vaping from the same device he did on vaping day #1, they've transitioned to Provaris—but not to purple Mohawks, or ear, nose, lip, nipple, eyelid and genitalia piercings, or cinching the beltline of their pants south of their hips, or full-body tattoo art rivaling the restroom walls in Greyhound bus stops. Or—most unthinkable of all—blowing roomfuls of zero-nic vapor up from their metalflake-painted toenails into 100 watt mechanical monstrosities powering .25Ω coils.

I've moved on myself (black satin mini, stainless maxi, extensions for both and enough 18350s, 18490s and 18650s to keep all my options open), but I don't lose my grip on what got me there: my blue Buzz Pro sits alongside her black Buzz Classic sister on the corner of my kitchen table. The Classic is long non-functional; too many juice spills broke her heart, but her spirit clings to a soft spot of mine and I can't let her go. A disposable M402 may have opened my mind to the possibilities of vaping, but it was she that made it happen.

So. How are all of you?

PI !! Not much has changed here...getting by so I guess all is good...How are things in your neck of the woods???????? Still hanging on too my beta Buzz and it's sister...They aren't in rotation anymore..

Jerry this is tobacco country...I remember seeing one news story showing a protest against CVS...It quickly went away...

Dang old desk found a new home before I got there...Not too worry an even better one had shown up...This one is an actual piece of furniture with a bookcase on the back...also scored an oak chair and a camera tri-pod for the BIL..Stopped by the store near the house and came out too some friends looking at my haul...One asked why I needed a desk and I told him I'd accepted an executive position...It's gonna be an awesome coil building/stuff stashing station....Now all I gotta do is clean it and the dang dining room prior...
