PI I know what you mean about having little to nothing in common with vapers you meet. We finally have a shop close to me that sells some gear, I have yet to go check them out. The youngin with the blue hair who works at the quickie store told me about it, it's a local head shop :) He was sporting a Spinner with a nautilus on it. I don't get out much, but you'd think in 4.5 years of vaping here, I'd have met more than 1 other vaper!

Jerry don't get too excited about the warm up next week yet, forecast says snow for Turkey Day.

Dang a head shop vaping store combo???????? I could kill two birds there.....

The verdict on the Space jam #51 custard blend......save your money...that dang stuff is a buck per ML and not even close too the blends I started working on....The limited juice I've bought for comparison purposes were all top shelf...way better comes from the kitchen counter...

Had the axe in the forehead, ill as a MFer, sinus headache all day...Yeah old blind as a bat Mom chose today to ..... about the car keys...I took the high road and didn't comment and kept the damn keys...It's my duty too see that she nor anyone else is injured or killed...Thinking I may let Sis hold the keys since she seems oblivious too the situation....Much more and I'll burn that damn car....

Scored a set of the BF Goodrich Baja TAs today...37 inches tall!!!!!!!!!!!! They are military take offs with 85% tread remaining...They do take the old school 16.5 rim but I've a line on a set of those as well...

I've given up on seeing any weather worth a damn...

Damn. I missed the farewell to Mike. I'm not going to let that go. I'll be sending him a note. I sure hate to see him leave but I do understand. I hope everyone here is doing great.

I was in a local B&M vape shop a couple of weeks ago, and was talking with the rugrat behind the counter. He recognized the Vari protruding from my shirt pocket, but wasn't impressed. I name-dropped my other noteworthy possessions: my Silver Bullet, my Darwin, my Phidias wooden bottom-feeder.

Silence. He didn't know what I was talking about.

I pulled out my Ace-in-the-hole: "I have a black Buzz Classic, the original, and a Buzz Pro, the descendant."

Silence.

I reached into my bag for the final Coup de grâce: "...and a copper Infinity, one of the first lot. It has a serial number, was supposed to be brass but the Korean machine shop ....ed it up and made it copper."

Silence.

I fumbled for something, anything, any point of contact to fill the awkwardness. "What sort of tobacco flavors do you have in your E-liquid?"

"E-liquid? You mean juice? Oh, we got a RY4, but that tobacco .... doesn't sell."

Exiting myself from the building and the conversation, I thought of how vaping has become far more popular and technologically sophisticated—but not improved. You, Mike and I understand the quality inherent to a pre-CBS Fender Telecaster, and a pre-AMF Harley Davidson Sportster—and a first-lot Infinity, and a Buzz Classic.

A History of Vaping will one day be written, and you, Mike and I will be featured with the same prominence as the signers of the Declaration of Independence are in treatments of American History.

Mike got his patent—made his mark. And he was done with it.

There is definitely a difference in veteran vapers, such as ourselves and the newbies. The "kids" are all about mech mods and blowing huge clouds it seems. (at least in my neck of the woods) Not that there's anything wrong with clouds mind you....but they just don't always "get" why others are happy with eGo's, regulated mods and such. Nor do they get the struggle we had in the very early days of vaping with atomizers and cartomizers and punching holes into the sides of those metal cartos to use with the first tanks. They have it so easy now. I just shake my head...
