It sure could have been El Dee.
You are most likely correct.
Probably mortar or grenade fragments then.

LOL, I was just going to say that I doubt TT was ever under attack when he was there. I hope not anyway!

Ha! I worked in places most people don't even remember and only a few were friendly.
Not the kind of stories I like to share though.
It never was enjoyable. It just paid good.
Why do you doubt that salem?
It all started with two tours in Nam with the Marine Corps.
Um .... some people would attack us from time to time. There wan't much in the way of fun or games.
And a while after I got out I ended up with the job I retied from.
Ahhh yeah....the slow leak...I take the tire off and spray it with 50% Simple Green 50% water....bubbles indicate where the leak is....
A couple of the new military tires on the Dodge had weird to me colored wood stuck in them...almost orange like fat lighterd...I assume it's Afghani and bomb debris...not stuck in the treads but sidewalls...A sidewall is thinner than the tread area so a plug is a no go....One tire was dang near almost new with a splinter on the edge of the tread...I plugged it and it stayed aired up for a month....Then it leaked...I pulled the plug and installed another......leaked....I bought some glue made for sealing plugs...It stopped the leak for 36 hours and then did something I've never seen before....Blew the dang plug out....
The thing about using honey to treat allergies is that just like antihistamines, you need to start using it several months before allergy season starts. I use it every day.
Raw honey has anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties. It promotes body and digestive health, is a powerful antioxidant, strengthens the immune system, eliminates allergies, and is an excellent remedy for skin wounds and all types of infections. Raw honey's benefits don't stop there. Raw honey can also stabilize blood pressure, balance sugar levels, relieve pain, calm nerves, and it has been used to treat ulcers. Raw honey is also an expectorant and anti-inflammatory and has been known to effectively treat respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and asthma.
Raw honey purchased from a local source is an excellent way of treating seasonal allergies. Local honey is preferred for treating allergies because the likelihood is great that it will contain small amounts of the specific pollens an individual may be allergic to.
To treat allergies, take a teaspoon of raw honey a couple of times a day starting a few months prior to allergy season.
Dangitt now Son !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday in the mail there was a slip to sign so a package could be delivered....the slip could be used at the PO as well....PO closes at 4:30....I arrived at 4:31....Saw them staring but unwilling to let me grab the package....Signed and in the box today...I come back and find some type of clothing in a large package and a newspaper in the box....both belonging too my neighbor....nothing else.....Seems after years of nothing but great service from USPS it's all went to hell in a hand basket here as of late....Whatever politicians took the money too privatize mail service and get rid of the USPS......well.....It's working.....Make them seem un-capable and shut them down....In the meantime we suffer....Treason IMO
Salem, Thanks for that info. I'm always a day late and a dollar short!!!Figure it won't help me this bout, but since I suffer with them quite awhile, if I start now......
I'll prevent some of it! I love and always have on hand some of the Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother in it. Stuff works great, but doesn't smell so hot.
Balance blood sugars sounds like a Diabetic could do this too? I'm controlled on the meds but love honey.
She was having a heck of a time controlling her BS
