Dee wick changes are usually about gunkyness or boredom :)

The only downside is working Nickel... it's kinda like spaghetti al dente. Early on I looked for tempered Ni and was quoted $1 per foot... Say what ?!?!?

I ordered some last night from Stealth Vape, $7 for 80'..... We'll see if it helps.

Congratulations to Jocelyn and her mother!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!

I guess that I have been lucky. I have never had any of the leaking or dry hit issues that I see others talk about. I don't fiddle around changing wicks or modding anything unless I have to though. I have had zero issues with my full sized subtank.

I have had that darn vapor lock thing happen with my nautilus a time or two though. That can be very frustrating!

Sweet dreams Fran :)

I'm about ready to chuck this POS drilled out rba as far as I can throw it!! Stock head back in until the mail carrier brings my new one. Thing is, the stock coils just aren't as good as the working properly rba...grrrr!! All in all, I haven't lost anything tho, since this one wasn't right from the beginning.

It's been a Katie day too, and that didn't help. She was convinced that someone had tapped her checking account for several thousand dollars when she went over her statement this morning. She'll be happy to know in the morning that it was a subtraction error that she made...again

My Nauty vapor locks every single dang time...Holding glass as tight as I can squeeze it isn't exactly high on my list....

The lemo II leak has been traced too operator error...It was coming from the fill port...Negative pressure helps draw juice too the wick....Now when filling the L II I just give it a little reverse puff...crack the port and fill...Worked great a couple of times now...

The KF is great...negative pressure again...If you don't leave a big bubble on the fill you better primer puff until you do have a big bubble....I get it primed and then forget to prime it again a few minutes later...Today I left a big bubble like a smart man would do...

Did the ride of shame this am....washed Mom's car while she was in church....Yeah....I noticed all her rearranging of the car wash area....I reach for the micro fiber shammy and yeah....gone...Where she put it is anyone's guess...She's at it all day long....Usually I have to drag the hose back and put up garden tools a couple of times daily...Then there's always the stoop at my shop door....cuttings rooting....new plantings....tools leaning next too the door...keeping walkways clear is foreign to Mom...Dropped her glasses at church today.....then promptly stepped on them...That will be tomorrows adventure...Mom says they can fix "em while I wait....I'm really good at waiting.....

LD, I feel your pain! My mom constantly moves stuff around and then can't find any of it. She gets frustrated and I tell her to quit touching and messing with everything. She brings a lot of stress on herself. She also can't stand to have "stuff" around. If my sister or I walk in with a bag or anything in our hand, she zones right in on it and asks "what is that?" Sometimes if I bring something that she is not expecting, I leave it in my car until I have a chance to tell her what it is. It is that bad. Nothing that we can do except to just deal with it though.

Just today she asked me to bring her a 1/2 gallon of milk. Well, they didn't have 1/2 gallons and the gallons were only 50 cent more anyway. Soooo..... I left it in my car until I could explain it to her.

El Dee, try holding the base of the Nautilus and loosen the top cap first, even if you need pliers to loosen it. Makes it much easier to unscrew the base with no need to put pressure on the glass. I had one shatter in my hand once. Luckily, I didn't get cut and had a spare glass so was back in business quickly.

Morning ladies and gents :)

I can't help but laugh at our moms!! If we put Katie and Dee's mom together, Katie would be putting all those tools up and keeing the walkway cleared. No tellin where she'd put it all, but it wouldn't be visible or hinder the path! She was outside in the rain sweeping the water off the sidewalk and driveway when I got up.

So that's why I always had problems opening my nauty mini!! I kept a big fat rubber band on my desk to wrap around the base in order to get a better grip to open it.

The new Subtank Mini rba landed today, and straight off the bat I could tell by looking at it how fubar my other one is. I ordered a new bottom air flow cap with it, so I wicked up the .5 coil that was pre installed and slapped it in my tank. So far so good! Now I'm trying to remember why I didn't like the .5 coils before. Must have been something about the occ head since I never tried the lower resistance coils on the rba. Happy camper to have 2 working rbas again!
