Yeah I'm running 12.5 watts on the 50 and 9.5 on the Shark....That's 87.5 excess watts....I take long drags and that really doesn't play well with a lot of watts...

I'm gonna get a new style rba with a black KSM so I can compare...Gonna order up a couple of the old style for spares and in case the comparison doesn't go well...Figured I'd run my old KSM with some of the new vertical coils and just leave the old air flow controller in place...

Son she was rocking outside last evening...Massive thunderstorm w/hail and all that good stuff...Just hot as Hades ATM with thunder in the distance...

Finally getting around to sorting out my new to me air compressor...If you've ever tried to buy the "good" compressor oil locally....well.....let's just say most shop owners must not spring for the good stuff....I'm building a new room for the compressor as well..mainly to keep the compressor outta the fog of paint that sometimes escapes the trap in my exhaust fan...Depending on the amount being sprayed it can get nasty back there...I can also duck jack stands and other stuff in the new compressor room and keep the shop floor clear...Can't wait to mix 80lb bags of concrete in 100* plus weather....Hoody Hoo!!! The struggle is real!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run from 16 to 18w, and my long draws hit the 10 second cutoff on the istick. Let us know what you think of the vertical coils. I have 2 boxes of the original coils for when I'm too lazy to fiddle with cleaning, changing, wicking.

I got tired of trying to fix a small hump in the cement strip that I did by the back steps. Went to Harbor Freight and bought a little $10 grinder and a concrete wheel. That hump is gone now

Hey guys, sorry it took me awhile to update. I have not back read yet but will tomorrow. I am exhausted. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers :thumb:

My mom ended up needing her appendix out. They wanted to do it as emergency the first night in the hospital but they had to admit her and wait until next morning as she had eaten that morning. This entire week seemed like one long night mare of a single day.

They did surgery yesterday morning and we had quite a scare. She was in recovery for 5 hours  as they thought that she had a heart attack. After they ran tests they found that it was her lungs and their condition from the damn cigs. She was laboring so hard to breathe that it put quite a strain on her heart. She was extremely dehydrated so they kept her until this evening so that they could get plenty of IV fluids into her and try and get her BP up.

Hope that made sense because I truly am so tired that my thoughts don't mnake a damn bit of sense to me lol Must sleep but, thank you all again so much

ETA- never think that you are too old for the appendix to go bad. My mom is 78 and her surgeon just removed one from a 90 yo woman last week. It is odd but does happen

Oh I'm happy to hear that Mama Gold is going to be ok!!! :). (((Hugs))) to you Salem for enduring the worry week from hell.

I feel your pain with a Mom who still smokes. As you do, I have everything at my fingertips that she could possibly need to make quitting so much easier...but until they WANT to, it makes no difference!

It's so cool here that I went to leave the house earlier in my usual shorts and flip flops and turned around right quick and came back in for a light jacket!

Not complaining though, a cozy day staying indoors is just what the doctor ordered! My pool will benefit from this cool snap as well. The water was getting too warm. Too warm=algae growth. Plthhhhh!

Going to curl up and watch a movie or something in a bit. Have a great night everyone!
