Wash
Oh how I remember ear aches. Ouch. Had them all the time as a kid until they yanked my tonsils out.
If LD's so tough why does he need a barrier when he vapes? He said he put up a vaper barrier.

Notcigs is still selling stuff so if there's something you needed before they stop get it. I just picked up 3 packs of batteries because I like them batteries. Oh and my 4 yr. old batteries are straining a bit.

Psoriasis...There I'm gonna spell it and get it out of the way...My Dad and an old friend Uncle Vern each drank a little sea water daily to prevent psoriasis...Dan and Uncle Vern also hit a little red wine as a preventative...

Five that barrier was too prevent vapor from penetrating the living space should someone be chain vaping under the house...I would have tapped out from the screw stabbing or head too pipe bashing incidents...All is better now...

Was gonna hit the Cape Fear River and stretch the skiff's legs today...was....70* and sunny turned into where the hell is my boggin...

Cleaning out my old set up for coil building so I can get my new desk in there...It's in the dining room that's never used for dining...Half the walls are shiny white and half have the yellowed nicotine stains left...My research indicated at the time the nic stain was a complex greasy chain...so a grease cutter would give the desired results...Purple cleaner worked great but that stuff is best not used in enclosed spaces....ask me how I know....Gonna try some blue dawn for the remainder...

Threw a coil together with my new jig....The closest possible too the 5/64ths bit was 10 thousandths shy....not much plus the fact my new ... organic yarn was a shade smaller so I went with it..10 thousandths cost me from 1.5 to 1.2 ohms with my usual 10 wrap and 28 gauge...So I dropped a tenth too 3.6...So far so good and the first attempt with the jig produced a good coil...

Ordered some of my Rampage tips on the cyber Monday deal-e-ohh as well...broke my Pokey tips last time and was only able too score one for the collection this time along with some different styles this time...Original K-Fun tips are necked down too a small exit hole as are the Rampage tips...Whether or not the increased velocity from whatever "effect" necking down adds too the negative tank pressure....well wicking may or not be effected...They do work damn fine on a KF though...

What's purple cleaner?
I have used TSP Substitute in the past (it is blue or at least it is, now...it's been a long while) to remove the nicotine. Not on painted drywall, though...not sure if you can?

Maybe that's too much chemical/not organic though?

Let me know how the Dawn works. Have a room to do, myself.

Aha!

Never though about this with my KF wicking misadventures!
I use dripping tips—wide, wide, wide— all the way down...maybe that's where I run into troubles???

<Off to find the original KF tips>

Gratz on the Pokey Tip score

I never successfully cleaned nic stained walls, I just slapped a coat of Killz over them and repainted

Pokey, do you mean the wide bore drip tips? I have a very pretty rainbow like tie dye one that I ordered not realizing it was wide bore until I got it. I'd be more than happy to send it to you if you wish :)

Dee, sorry your skiff trip got weathered out. Sucks when you finally grab some time for yourself and the weather derails you.

Pokey I read nicotine stains were very similar to grease...Anything that cuts grease will remove it...I used a couple of household cleaners like 409 and Windex..While still wet the walls appear clean...when they dried they were sticky...I then switched to the Purple Power cleaner...It comes under several brand names...Purple Stuff was the original but I don't think it survived the Chinese invasion...Castrol also makes it and I believe that's what Wally carries...It's in the auto section at wally's or any auto parts has it...there should be a dilution ratio and you can use water...I snagged @10 sponges and poured some into a bucket with plenty of water....like @ 75% water...That stuff will gunk a sponge post haste...Fumes are strong so an open window and fan are a dang good idea with the purple stuff...I read last week on original Blue Dawn...it's a surficant or something like that...Gets under grease and lifts it off...I always had good luck with it on other cleaning jobs...I was reading it's many uses including killing fleas and ticks when it dawned on me it might remove the nic stains...I know it rinses off Spike one heck of a lot faster than the oatmeal stuff I got at the pet store...Diluted properly the purple cleaner removes 100% of the stain but if it's too strong it will damage paint...My 75% cut left no damage...It comes in gallons and ready too spray quarts...uncut quarts so watch out for that...

Just found out I forgot too opt out of the signature deal-e-ohh on my drip tips....Who the Hades asks for a dang signature on a $50 buck package???? VapeRev that's who..

KayFun wicking depends on negative pressure built from the "draw"...I've only had issues when the KF was recently filled...I leave a little larger bubble when filling now as that's the space where your negative pressure will reside...I also hell hammer drag on it a couple of times after filling to introduce the negative pressure and clear a juice path thru my wick if I just added one...I also find there's a delicate balance with voltage/ohms/wicking...I try and sneak up on the volts from the low side cause once it's burnt....1.5 ohms I run at 3.7...the 1.2 I got tonight is at 3.6...I may be on a 9 wrap instead of my usual 10 as .3 ohms seems a little much for the 10thousandths I lost in coil diameter...X 10 that's 100thousandths though and would play out in wire length not diameter...Back too the ding dang drawing board...The neck down likely aides in the negative pressure but I think Wharf only uses Trippys and they're not necked down too my knowledge..
