Oly it's been hot as hell here the last couple of weeks, with a little break for a few nights.
Got another letter from the ex today. He is fairly sure that he'll be released and home in just a couple of weeks.

I'll be praying for you Bov, for sure. I spend a lot of time in the ocean so that helps fight the heat but definitely used muscles i don't normally use.

Darn, Fran. We may have had the same thing. The day that I slept for 11 hours, I think that I may have had a bug. I still feel a bit weak but better than I did. Glad to hear you are feeling better though.
Can't like that post, Bov. I can only help that his time "away" gave him plenty of time to think and that he goes home a little smarter than he was when he left. If not, I have total faith that you will handle the situation well

Good morning Refugees. Y'all can count me in on that sick day too except mine was yesterday. I got up, ate breakfast and ready to work outside thinking I'd shake it off in a little while. Didn't even get started when I realized it wasn't going to happen and went back to bed. Stayed there most of the day and slept well last night. I feel fine this morning and ready to split firewood. Hope y'all have a bodacious Friday.

Did any of you eat cucumbers before getting sick? There has been a huge recall on hothouse cucumbers, a couple of people have died from food poisoning. Hope you all feel better!

Thanks Bovinia. I fight back every day with it. And yes, we eat lots of cucumbers from Aldi. We make up a "spray" that we use on ALL our produce after we wash it. We all need to be proactive with everything, and especially with what we eat.
