Hi, guys. Looks like everyone had a pretty good weekend.

The weather was gorgeous here but, it was a little sad for us. My grandsons very first pet passed away last night. :( She was a sweet little Syrian ( Teddy Bear) hamster that he named Selena. I came up with her middle name which was Bena (beena). HA! I always end up calling animals silly names. I just go with what fits their personality.

Anyway, don't know if any of you have had rodents for pets before or not but, they may surprise you with their intelligence and at how affectionate they are. The really horrible part about having them as pets is that they do not live very long at all and they don't go easily or quickly. Selena came for every visit with GS since he got her. GS was just telling me at Christmas that he just knew Selena would soon be "passed out". He knew her age and knew it was coming.

We had Gerbils when our son was growing up and knew the signs. Son called us last Monday and told us how Selena was acting and asked what he should do. We knew that her time was close.

GS was with his mother this weekend and will be at sons house tomorrow after school. I do not envy my son for having to tell GS or GS for how sad he is going to feel.

R.I.P. Selena Bena

LOL Moon!! Thanks for the giggle! Pretty appropriate too, since one of my tasks today was getting Chase to the groomer. Still waiting for them to call so I can go get him :)

Your groomer does that too? The groomer that we use for my sisters 2 ( 1 now, RIP Sam) and my moms dog (also passed last year) will keep them all day long. I was the one that always took them and picked them up. I had to have them there before 9:30 am and they would spend the entire day there. Never ready before 6PM. I always hated that because they hated going there and I know that it stressed them being there all day. The groomers are good and very well priced though.

I started out at 32W with this coil since I read it is best from 30-35W ( I have the .9 kanthal). For the first hour I could barely get any flavor at all although there were no "off" tastes and the vapor was excellent. Figured it may need time to break in. Ended up on 43.5W and am now getting good flavor. Sucking the juice up like crazy but, the flavor is good. Another thing is that I am using the Atlantis tank to try this coil. I have never been a fan of these tanks. Don't like the metal tip and I am never able to get the airflow just right for me. I am going to continue using it over the next few days and see how it goes.

Got stuck over at Amazon trying to find a good memory foam cushion for my mom. Hope that I picked a good one. I got tired of looking and reading :)

It's been wide open here for several days....Shopping for items when I can....Comparable wall mounts for flat screen TVs....Wally's $127.....Harbor Freight $29 and I got a 20% off coupon....I learned that sheet from Salem...I scoped them hard and like the HF one better...Got the old 700lb Sony out last night....also took the top 1/2 of a huge azz entertainment center off and to my amazement the top of the bottom chest looks kick azz...I then measured the between 2 doors area and devised a plan...decided on the wall mount....Stump is up and gone...hauled in a load of top soil today and started grading that out....Gonna service my tractor in the am and get that yard finished where the tree fell....Then it's off to get the 10 million limbs up....Gonna have to start another pile cause my regular spot is getting scary big...It's gonna be one Hell of a fire.....

The Crown leak was as I suspected....Mad rush filling and got some down the chimney....Not a drop since...

Whomever ran over those kids remains at large.....I got no sympathy for that sheet....

Took the first pill from the second bottle of Harvoni today....I'm feeling optimistic about being cured....Thing is though the HepC has limited what I could or couldn't do....I secluded myself...Wouldn't work in a shop with other people because in my trade blood loss isn't rare.....Now with that cap possibly off I get the feeling that I may never accomplish all that I want....I feel my time here is to short....like the end may be just around the corner....Not really sure what's causing the doom and gloom outlook....Hope it ain't a freekin premonition....Truth is I lay sheet down here that I don't tell regular peeps....Trust I'm fine...I'll get this all sorted out

Dee about 4 years ago I had a bout with vertigo. Went to the Dr and saw the PA. Saw gave me some meds and said she wanted to do an EKG. She takes the test, says we need to redo it and then comes back in and says in a matter of fact voice... "you've had a heart attack, Dr wants to do a stress test" and walks out....

Well I'm freaking OUT !!! Long story short, no heart attack although I had a regular irregularity and a thickening of the back wall. I had and echo and stress test 3 months ago and both are all gone.

I say all that to say this... I understand your thoughts and feelings. You see Greeks start dying the day after they're born.. you can laugh but it's true !!! And I've been afraid of death ever since.

But the Days Between (Grateful Dead song, had to throw that in) the EKG and the Echo, I did a LOT of soul searching and realized and made peace with the fact I too will leave this rock one day. And It was kind of a relief. Since then I've tried to take time to smell the roses, enjoy the moment and soak up every minute with Connie and Kia.

I hope you can do the same.

... Hey maybe that's what has healed this Heart :)
